Does Cleansing Ire still work even if the burst misses? For example, if I’m blinded and I used Eviscerate, will my conditions be cleansed?

I think they need to make it cleanse the moment the burst is activated for it to be truly effective.

It seems very luckluster when using say the sword burst.

This probably comes down to an issue with how you can use a burst skill and not use any of the adrenaline if you miss…which is also a silly handicap mechanic.

Oreo, while your example will come out to not affected, longbow will work regardless. Longbow burst checks for hits ground not hits target. So longbow should always drain adrenaline and be used even if blinded.

It’s actually incredibly good. At least for my build anyways. Eviscerate has an 8 second cooldown, which means you can easily get rid of 3 conditions every 8 seconds. That’s on top of our utilities AND food.

God, do I love this phrase.

What happens when those “good players” get stunned? How about when they run out of Dodge rolls because they are under too much pressure.

These types of assumptions are what really drags down the community. Even good players screw up and run out of options on the battlefield at some point.

Players have 3/4ths of a second to react to an Eviscerate. That’s a very small window of escape for the target, but it’s still avoidable. You assume that people will just spam their Eviscerate as soon as it’s up, rather than saving it for a set up.

When set up with a stun/root/knockdown/ you are guaranteed to hit.

I’m super pumped at being able to cure poison, burning, and bleed stacks on burst more than anything. Yes blind could possibly counter the move, but with soldier runes and all shouts blind never stays on long for me to miss my burst skill lol. Condition removal for dddaaayyyyssss
