Traits should be III, IX, and XI in Strength. I, V, and X in arms. Take 10 out of Discipline put in Empowered.
Go full berserker gear as soon as you’re able. Change Fear Me to Banner of Discipline, and Signet of Might to For Great Justice
Hello,
Thank you for your refreshing post, and welcome on the warrior forum.
Your build is fine. In the past, people used to put 5 points only in Arms, to get 3 points in Discipline (so as to switch weapons more often, and gain access to better rotations), but the 15 Apr patch has opened new possibilities, currently explored by the community.
12k in Orr is a bit low, but don’t worry about it, equipment (exotic first, and ascended later) will help you beef that up pretty fast. You’ll then be playing with stacks of might to get temporary damage increase – doing 25k+ will become frequent (some people even went over 80k in very specialized situations).
Also, congratulations on duo-ing an instance with your friend. As you say, it does prove that your build, and notably your vision of what the build should be in PvE, are indeed correct – but it also shows that you have skills! Do not hesitate to do other instances – either in groups of 5 or with your friend. Not only are most dungeons very enjoyable to run (provided your group is friendly), but also the tokens you’ll earn will let you buy lvl 80 dungeon stuff, the skins of which are sometimes very nice.
Have fun.

Thanks for the advice, I can see how all the traits work together. If I have two stacks of one boon, for example Might, will Empowered give me an extra 2% damage, or just 1%?

Thanks a lot =) Me and my friend were running through with a group of players once, and they kinda sat back and let us do all the work. This got us into the idea of duo-ing the whole thing alone, to see if we could, lol..Dat Cave Troll was trouble xD
I love Dungeon Crawling with more than just the two of us too, especially when it ends up with an Exotic Thanks for the words of wisdom =)
You have good trait point allocation, but chose kind of odd traits for 3 of them.
For solo PvE I strongly encourage you to first check out my guide here:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/warrior/Guide-for-DPS-build-dungeon-solos-more/first#post3712058
For traits, these are the modifications I think you should make:
6 (V IX XI)
6 (I X V)
0
0
2 (VI)
When soloing more difficult content and more fluidity with gameplay, reduce Arms to 5 and increase Discipline to 3. Simple as that; you will be able to weapon swap much faster to take advantage of blocks, extra swiftness/cleanse movement impairing conditions, etc.
As for utilities, you don’t really need fear me in PvE much at all and it’s a waste of a util unless you’re in WvW/PvP where it’s extremely effective if used properly.
Because Arms I (deep strikes) is actually bugged, you will get a free signet of might simply for equipping that trait whilst having an unused signet equipped, period. At the moment there is never a reason to equip it and since Arenanet is well known for having no employees to work on the game and fix content, don’t expect a fix for it anytime soon :P
I suggest making use of For Great Justice, Signet of Fury, Banner of Discipline/Shake it Off depending on whether or not you’re about to solo a champ or something or if you’re travelling great distance where carrying a banner would be impractical.
Hope this helps!

Empowered is 1% per unique boon on you. 2 stacks of might will give just 1% dmg increase.
