Really difficult compared to...
Dying while soloing? or in dungeon? Warrior is pretty easy to solo with tbh, so i’m not sure why your struggling. You can pretty much use any build to solo.
If its soloing and your dying alot, i’d bring “fear me” that way you can use it to escape if you say…. over aggroed too much stuff. Also, healing signet is terrible, you should have stopped using that awhile ago. I’d use mending if i were you and leveling in orr, since alot of the undead will throw cc and conditions on you. Otherwise, try not to fight more than 3 things at once until you feel comfortable. If things are real bad, go back to ranger tactics, equip a bow and kite at ranged.
If you play your Ranger like I’ve seen lots of rangers played (pet charge forward, you stand back and pew pew pew) then I’d chalk it up to playstyle.
You have AxeAxe/Rifle which has minimal self preservation tools and the only defensive utility you have is 5 seconds of taking no damage. Even if you had pure defensive gear, I’d find it hard to get by without something to fall back on.
And this is just all my opinion. Axes build adrenaline pretty fast already so why use Embrace the Pain? You’re also using a healing signet, does Restorative Strength even work with Healing Signet unless you actually use it? Mending would be much better as it recharges faster, heals 2 conditions and would remove an additional condition with Restorative Strength? And a swiftness trait? Signet of Rage gives 30sec of swiftness…
Seems like some wasted trait choices and very self contained, IMO. I almost question what the rifle is there for as it doesn’t synergize with any traits or weapons you’ve got. Could always just swap it out for a shield and take the shield master trait for extra defense…it’s like endure pain but recharges in less than a 3rd of the time.
Or swap into some points in tactics and use a warhorn to remove conditions instead of using Restorative Strength.
Thanks, yup it is soloing. I will try changing my healing to mending.
maybe the fear me too.
anothe thing… I see so many greatsword builds out there, I just like the double axe
I like the axe in off hand, The spinning is just cool to me:)
Hammer’s a pretty effective weapon for survival and doesn’t slack on damage.
That is, swap the rifle for something with damage mitigation.
http://www.guildhead.com/skill-calc#mmRzzo9cohogmoRonmxx9MaVRazVqV A simple build that I have found to work well. Not too many frills but tweak it as you see fit. Uses knights gear and ruby accessories Forgot to put on healing surge rather than the signet.
