Regen Warrior
It quite slow healing. I was actually expecting a 30 Tactics warrior with a banner and Cleric’s gear…
The other thing, looking at your traits, I’d be tempted to drop the strength and max discipline for the +20% crit damage and faster weapons swaps.
I’m assuming you’re including Heightened Focus in as your adept trait, right? Combine that with adrenal health in defense, you’re going to want to keep your adrenaline rather than using it on a burst attack. With that in mind, wouldn’t you also want 20 into strength to get Berserker’s Power? Isn’t a 12% base damage increase better than a 20% crit damage increase unless your crit % is pretty high?
Isn’t a base damage increase of 12% also a crit damage increase of 24% if you have a crit damage of 50%?

If you’re traiting into defense, it’s not bad, but it’s nothing to revolve a build around.
Omnom Ghost crushes it.
This seemed interesting so I did a little looking around the GW2 wiki.
From my understanding you cold have a passive regen of 538 HP per second (assuming 0 Healing Power) if you:
-ate a Mango Pie
-have the Adrenal Health trait
-have Healing Signet on
-have the Regeneration boon
Regen is great, but not in every situation. I liked Healing Signet a lot when I was rolling Combat Medic in WvW for the passive heals while reviving people, but nowadays I prefer the large heal and full adrenaline recovery of Healing Surge (especially with those adrenaline traits).
Adrenal Health is pretty good actually. The fact that it does not use Healing Power lets you get full effect out of it with all builds. It is one, if not the best, Minor Traits available to Warriors if you ask me.
Do you even lift, bro?
In PvE regen warrior is amazing, i mean you don’t even need healing gear and can go full knight’s or something and very rarely die. Ofc bosses are different and you’ll NEED a ranged weapon to allow your regen the time to heal you.
In PvP don’t bother, I tried making a full healing bunker build utilizing all forms of regen POSSIBLE and through testing found a single rangers dots are enough to easily out power your regen at full adrenaline. And ofc don’t forget the fact that all burst classes can kill you before any of your regen makes an impact lol
Also though, in WvW it’s quite useful as well, so if you like it in PvE I recommend carrying it over to WvW if you like that kind of thing.
going 30 on precision trait line is a HUGE waste of stats if you drop the 1h sword… nothing else but the bow or riffle applies condition damage to get benefit of the 300 wasted stat points there… you’d be better with something you will take full benefit of.
Okay, so:
Mango Pie (85 HPS)
Dolyak Runes (30 HPS)
Healing Signet (200 HPS)
Adrenal Health (125/240/360 HPS)
Allowing 675 HPS in an X/X/15/X/X Build.
Adding in perma regen would add another ~170 HPS (Up to ~845 HPS)
It can work, you can still go a high damage build with 675 HPS with the only requirements being: 15 trait points, some runes and food. All of which provide minor increases to damage if used for damage instead (Aside from the 15 trait points which provide 15% crit damage for glass cannon specs)
There’s two kinds of people… The quick and the dead”
Adrenal Health ticks once every 3 seconds, so its 120 Hps with full adrenaline, not 360.
so it becomes about 435 Hps without perma regen.
Adrenal Health (125/240/360 HPS)
No.
Adrenal Health is 360 Health every three seconds at max adrenaline. Which works out to 120 HPS.
After reading this thread I was messing around, picked up some clerics gear with hammer and double mace, went 0/0/30/20/20 with dwayna runes and all the regen stuff and lol… All I was doing tanking healing and ccing, I even picked up the sigil to steal life next attack on weapon swap.. I felt like a p/d thief as a warrior
