Regeneration doesnt work in some cases
Poison reduces healing power, basically kills regen.
Adrenal health takes time to build up too

I’ve never had any issues with my regen spec’ed warrior. My regen has always worked fine.
What makes you think there’s a problem?
posion usually cancels out regeneration with the reduction and very lower ticking.
lv80 Necromancer, all professional skills unlocked, working on the final norn elite skills.
Which form of warrior regeneration are you talking about?
Healing Signet heals the warrior as long as the signet stays unused.
Adrenal Health requires one bar of adrenaline to function.
Inspiring Battle Standard gives the regeneration boon in 3 second pulses.
@palinois: Yes I have realized that, when poisoned and tinted green regen doesnt work, although it should as poison slows regen and not stop it, so thats one problem in itself.
@Hadouken: My regen works fine at times, then at times it doesnt work at all, and not only when I am poisoned, just stops working totally, even when the enemy is dead or when i run away and theres no effects on me. wish i could take a video and upload it, but for future reference ill try to pay closer attention to when regen isnt working and note it down
@Puffballpink: I am specced into defence so the +10 healing per level, +healing items and signet should all result in some decent regen ticks per second as per wiki, thing is when regen works, it deals a nice decent amount of healing per second, but my problem is it doesnt work, even when i have a mix of +healing and regen items equipped or buffed from food or such
When I really pile on the regen I use the Signet, Adrenal Health, Mango Pie, and Inspiring Banners. That with various +Healing buffs – Tactics Banner, etc. So far as I’ve noticed they all function reliably but honestly I’ve never made it a point to watch closely to be sure they are all ticking and for the commensurate amounts. They are indeed buffs, aside from poison that is that completely STOP all healing. There’s a debuff called “Dwayna’s Misery” or something like that near Arah in Cursed Shore and I’m pretty sure there are some others that effect similarly though I’m, not 100% on that.
Just to be clear though, you’re saying that the Green numbers that normally tick by over your player’s “health Orb” (for lack of a better term) in the “Scrolling Combat Text” when you have an HP deficit STOP, as in they cease to scroll by at all on your screen? The only times I’ve noticed that occur are when a debuff like the “Dwayna’s Misery” are applied to my Character. I’ll keep a closer eye on it now though, it’s very possible there may be a bug that I just haven’t noticed before.
With all those regen buffs though I can generally stand there and let 1- 3 (sometimes, depending) regular mobs in Orr just swing away without my HP ever dropping. If that regen suddenly stoipped mid combat it seems I’d notice it P.D.Q. Then again though, enough mobs on me with all my regens not funtioning I may actually die to quick to notice if they’re working or not though. For general farming though I can’t believe I ever tried to do it without the regen active though (and with gear a WHOLE lot poopier than the set I use these days).
Will keep an eye out and report back here if I notice they are not functioning inexplicably at times.
ok so last night i tried monitoring the ticks, and some weird results showed. At times when Id be poisoned the ticks stop completely, some times they tick for less amounts. Keep in mind I was playing in a lvl 1-15 area on a lvl 50ish warrior, so I don’t know if that affects anything. Later on moving to higher level areas, i used the signet that removes conditions when I was poisoned, and still the ticks didn’t work at all, like I was experiencing before making the thread. In water also it happened that when health was low id monitor ticks and they wouldn’t work. Can’t say if that is a commonly happening thing, as soon as combat is over health filled up quickly as it should, but the period between mob death and combat over, there were no health ticks.
This is making the whole regen build not so viable as the ticks are not coming in when u most need them hehe
~snip~
I’ve personally ran into a couple of cases where my regen has slowed down but I haven’t seen it completely stop. Usually blame it on adrenaline regen but if thats not the case, it needs to be looked into o.o;
Ive never had any issues with it. I just finished an exotic cleric draconic armor set with runes of dwyana. Sitting on 55s of regen duration with i think 810 healing. So i tick regen for about 350 currently between healing sig and adren health. Still need to get my accessories done.
