Guild Wars 2

Hello forum, I have recently come back to this game not having played for a very long time. My gear on my warrior from when I left is all rampagers (exotic I crafted) and based around bleeds (using sword). I remember this build being very viable back in the day at least. Some of my friends that have been playing more often off and on say most people just go full Berserkers now for DPS and not many other things are viable anymore. Can anyone shed some light on this because none of them play warrior at all so they can not give me any good advice. Thanks ahead of time.

Plenty of builds to go around, but most ppl talk about the ‘meta’ being zerker, the cause of this is the dungeon speed runs. (more dps = faster kill = faster runs)

You have different builds for each diff instance : PvP/WvW/dungeon/…etc.

For dungeons, phalanx str is most used i think.

Then from there on out, rebuild your character if needed.

Rampager can still work using sword and bow. Berserker is more en vogue at the moment, but you should still be viable depending on what you want to do.
