So it is pretty obvious that you use signets and I have that. What I am mainly asking is what would you carry as your other weapon set? I was messing around with Sword/Axe, but never found it useful unless I was in a cluster of people not being targeted or using the sword’s leap to gain some distance to switch back to rifle. I then when to Sword/Shield to counter burst and, like Sword/Axe, use it to gain distance.

I run 4 signets out of the possible 5 so I can have the bolas. It lowers my cirt slightly, but with 3 stacks of adrenalin it gets bumped back up and so does my other all power. I find the build extremely affective, you just have to stay on the move and pay very close attention as to when you need to dodge, gain some distance, or pop the elite signet.

Any input would be great!! I’ve been playing warrior since launch and no matter the other profession I try out I always end up back on my warrior.

How about trying either sword/warhorn or Hammer?

I am running a 0/20/30/0/20 build with hammer/riffle and am really enjoying it. The hammer is great for lock down, and the burst skill is great to gain distance or jump away. I watched a video of someone owning with that combo – mainly using rifle and switching to hammer in close quarters.

I use sword/warhorn as the secondary weapon set.

Reason – speed boost from warhorn.

It’s just my preference but I won’t play any profession that doesn’t have some form of speed movement because it really helps when traveling around the map in PvE and advancing in WvW.

Plus the sword shares similar bleed characteristics from bleeding which the rifles does as well.

i m leveling a warrior with hammer/rifle and three shouts, fgj+fm+sif. i chose hammer because it looks cool to have a big hammer whopping at my foes, makes me feel like a pure man, and sometimes i burst out laughing hysterically just because of that.
