Rifle Warrior Build for Killing Noob DH...
This
2x the unblockables, 100% crit chance, no loss of defense, you’re going to want to sit at range and pressure HARD most of the time so swapping weapons all the time isnt necessary. Save your GS swaps for either mobility or for headbutt lockdown burst combos, or down cleaving. Condi’s aren’t a problem this season so you dont need ire, and of course balanced stance will serve you much better vs DH’s. You also build adrenaline much faster this way (without having to get beat up on) so you can get your burst out on those DH’s and start pressuring faster.
If you feel you can’t do without Discipline, it’s simply L2P without it. I know, big ask for many warriors, but once you’re used to it it’s like riding a bike.

I tried it and I died really fast haha however with that said it does kill noob DH absolutely the best. MES, Thief, Ranger kitten d me really bad using that build. The damage is incredible btw
.
In spvp matches I do do better with my build BUT I did adopt the head but because its way better than the elite signet with my build. So I ran it like this:
Yes, the DPS build that needs nerfing. Nothing should hit that hard with PvP stats. When thieves can’t hit as hard, that’s out of balance.

And yet a good thief will tear it to pieces, based purely on mechanical ability.
Hitting hard is what it does. Outside of that it can run into some real problems.
There are so many variants you can do with it. You can do a minor condi major power build with mace shield and a little condi for the runners.
Or a boon duration build stacking might and instead of the berserker amulet use the new seekers amulet:

I just came back and I’m really surprised that you aren’t seeing a ton of Wars running Signet of Might to counter all of the DHs. I run this which is a slight variation on most of the builds I’ve seen here. It’s weaker to condi but proper use of Berserker Stance and the Healing Signet active you should be able to kill them before they kill you.
Instead on focusing at staying at range however I’m more of a fan of jumping in, taking out the target, then backing off. The combination of double Endure Pain, and Last Stand should let you just sit in the traps while you go for the combination of :
(on gs) Signet of Strength→ Head Butt→ Berserk→ Arc Divider →either Whirlwind Attack of a few swings of 100b depending on if they break stun → Swap to rifle and Gun Flame and go from there.
If you want to be insane you can try this. You can also use an Axe or Mace +Shield in the first build for more sustain.
I feel like losing Discipline for Arms is too harsh and makes you too focused on one thing.
Old Man Burr (War), Bad Hat Ben (Engi), Manly Manny Manson (Guard)
Yolo Max Damage Build lmao. I hit 23 kills and 900k damage.

I love to defend our borderland in WvW vs small groups on GS/rifle warr. Common reaction to you swatting them like a fly through aegis/block/reflect/whatever blocky HoT mechanic: “You cheater I reported you” rage whispers.
Priceless.
