I’d just like to repeat my usual complaint. Rifles have too short a Range to be valuable.

Rifle range needs to be upped to 1500. It shoots too slow and does too little damage to have utility otherwise as most classes can close 1200 with one ability.

Fix the rifle.

1200 is perfectly fine with the Rifle.

…Though the idea of the projectiles moving faster had crossed my mind, but keep Killshot the same speed.

And? Every class has ranged and melee attacks.

but warriors specialize in melee, their melee attacks does alot of dmg compared to other classes’ melee. Rangers should specialize in ranged weapons (it’s in the name) so buffing warrior’s ranged weapons just makes rangers more and more useless.

I hope you’re just being ironic about the Ranger name thing because that title has literally nothing to do with ranged weapons

Thank goodness 1500 range cripples are so easy to access.

1500 makes a big difference in WvW, often the difference between scoring a kill or allowing the enemy to escape.

It also doesn’t help that the projectile velocity of rifle is total crap.

I apologize if you’re new to GW2, but that just isn’t true. There are no specialized melee or ranged classes. Every class can melee, every class can range.

I really like our off-hand shield being capable of reflecting those long-range shots especially during rapid-fire. We also have a bit of a beefier health pool, so it isn’t hard for us to get in range while staying at an acceptable health level.

To be fair, if you are getting opened up by a ranger at its maximum range anyways, he already has the jump on you and you are at a disadvantage.

My biggest issue with ranger is actually that unblockable/undodgable taunt that seems to be working as intended if I read a dev post correctly. That’s annoying even with our stunbreakers.

Actually that has already been fixed.
