I’ve seen videos where people do 15k or so Kill shots in WvW, is this still viable? or was it nerfed? I’m a huge fan of being that lazy person picking off single target ppl.

It got nerfed some a while back, but getting big crits is still doable. Just max out your +crit damage bonuses where possible. You’re gonna be a glass cannon though. I hit around 7k in sPvP pretty often with just traits and runes. The new skill splitting may actually improve things depending on your spec.

Traitine has it right, usually about 7k killshots in spvp, unless you get lucky and there’s some super squishy lil kitten and you might hit 12k or so (very rare). The damage in WvW is much higehr though simply because you can achieve higher crit % and crit damage etc. than in spvp. 100% viable and hilarious.

I get 6-9k killshots as a tanky shout warrior in wvw. I do like going full zerker rifle spec but the thieves can just smell when I respec it seems. Doesn’t take me long to get frustrated and go back to tanky

you just need to stick with your friends, but on the other hand Guardians, mesmers and even thiefs fall faster when a zerker rifle warrior around.

bah i’ve got well over 16k but i know they were just an invader so may of been up scaled, who knows, i do know even though i’ve got 30 in defence i get good killshot numbers from higher ranked players, the trouble with killshot though is getting it off without being noticed.
