i kinda feel rifle is like a skirmishing tool now…. shoot, slow, roll back, maybe im just weak.. cos i cant 1v1 much with rifle cos some classes get too dodgy or fast. what are ur views guys? is rifle worth to use. what about outnumbering fights..

Rifle gives you one of the most damaging ranged power bursts ingame. Its definitely the best weapon for warrior if you want to kill some1 quickly and move onto the next. Rifles are very much for 1 hit kills. You fire the burts…..then you drop ur rifle and switch to ur offhand and wait till ur burst is off of cd.

Basically rifle is for glass cannon builds. I honestly don’t find it useful for much other than that…..it gives a fair amount of vulnerability to setup ur offhand weapon but the base damage of a rifle is wimpy and it isn’t condi capable. You really have to maximize all available damage and plan ur build around the rifle to make it work…..I mean you can see from my builds just how much I sacrifice to make the rifle work.v

Ur better off with a bow if you are a tank and want a ranged weapon.
I wouldn’t call rifle op though. Nor one of the best bursts ingame. Its not particularly amazing and dwindles in comparison to the utility and effect of a chrono burst. It has its place though. Its most effective against static enemies that rely on blocks and standing still alot (guardians/dh). Its easy to read but helps clear lesser skilled players very quickly. You’ll have difficulty using rifle against higher tier players…..if they use both their dodges properly ur rifle is completely useless(its not hard to do so if you practice).
For pve, rifle was never meta to begin with so….pass if ur doing any high tier grouped stuff.
