Engaging a zerg in WvW starting with Balance Stance then Rampage will net you 2000 additional toughness. Couple that with 25% damage reduction from Rampage then you get a T-A-N-K in your army for 8 seconds.

Which still dies to conditions.

In which case he can’t even punch through a wet paper bag anymore, but I suppose going Rampage is more about control anyway.

Rampage is still the worst warrior elite in game. Even worse than most of the race based elites.

Rampage actually isn’t that bad. It’s situational yes but you can chain lockdown single targets fairly well that don’t have stability if you catch up, and literally nothing can stop you except pure damage or boon stripping.
