I’ve been messing around with different builds I’ve found online for a while and then I’ve started designing some of my own based off of what I like. After not playing any MMO’s for over a year, I’m a bit rusty at pvp and found I was getting dropped too quickly. I decided to take a different approach and came up with this build and found I’m actually really tanky. I have no problems leading a charge into a group or defending a point untill reinforcements arrive. On the off chance I run into a 1 on 1 fight at a node, I’m not very fast at killing them but I can’t remember the last time I’ve lost.
The build:
Main Hand/ Offhand: Sword and Shield
Main Hand: Hammer
Slot Skills:
6) Mending: Heal yourself and cure 2 conditions
7)On My Mark: Call out target foe and make them vulnerable
8) Fear Me: Induce fear into your foes
9) Shake It Off: Cure a condition on yourself and nearby allies, also breaks stuns.
0) Battle Standard: Helps rez and stuff
Sigils and Runes:
Superior Runes of the Water:
- +25 Healing
- +15 Second Boon Duration
- +50 Healing
- 5% chance to remove a condition when hit
- +90 Healing
- When you use a healing skill, you and nearby allies are healed for a small amount
Sigil of Superior Leeching: Your next attack after swapping to this weapon steals some health. (Both Weapons)
Sigil of Superior Energy: Gain 50% of your endurance when you swap to this weapon in combat. (Shield)

Precise Strikes: 33% to cause bleeds on critical hits
Thick Skin: Extra armor when health is about 90%
Adrenal Health: Regenerate health based on adrenal level
Armored Attack: 5 of toughness is given to power
Determined Revival: Gain 5 toughness per level while reviving
Fast Healer: Increases revival speed by 10
Reviver’s Might: Grant might to nearby allies when you revive someone
Majors:
Deep Cuts: Bleeds you apply last 50% longer
Missile Deflection: Reflect missiles while blocking
Shield Master: Gain 90 toughness while using a shield, shield skills recharge 50% faster
Spiked Armor: Gain 5 secs of retaliation when struck by a crit
Empower Allies: Increases power of nearby allies by 70
Shrug it Off: Use shake it off automatically when you have more then 1 condition
Vigorous Shouts: Shouts heal
I’m by no means a pro, and have very little time for theory crafting hence coming on here to share my build for tips. Is there anything glaring or missing about my build? What would you change about it and why? I play pvp hot-join and I’m usually either defending a point or in a group leading the charge. Thanks for any tips/ theory crafting you can give me.
