Guild Wars 2

Since the patch, I’m seeing a lot of really fast warriors. It might be my imagination, but often they’re paired up with guardians and wow…they move fast, stomp fast, and I can’t get them off me. They usually use a hammer and greatsword.

Which comp is this?

quickness chain is the new way of warrior

pretty much what anet thought to make dps warrior viable without giving it insta cast and teleport.

Wiki is a bit misleading as you said. There’s a 15s ICD.

As TheDuck said, there’s a 15s ICD. Where it mostly comes into play is when a zerk moves in for a burst… they set up, and try to hold you in place one way or the other.

With something like a 100b burst, HF will proc as mid channel and allow them to finish the burst. If you die fast enough, there may even be enough quickness left over for the stomp.

Been using Sigil of Rage for more than a year since it got it cooldown decreased, Quickness just make the life of a 100b user much much easier.

Coupled with Heightened Focus it makes for a dangerous burst with no need to sacrifice an utility slot for Frenzy.

Absolutely, I’ve been roaming as a Berserker with a Guardian friend, and we had some epic outnumbered fights thanks to Quickness : )
