Guild Wars 2

I’ve been for awhile trying to find what kind of warrior I should use. For the most part, I’m ok in PVE but whenever I’m in WVW I get destroyed when I’m alone (aka 1 v any number of players). I wanted to look for maybe a new build that might help me do better both in PVE and WVW.

This is my current build:

Armor: Full Berserker armor (all parts ascended except the chest piece) with Superior Scholar runes

Weapons: Greatsword/Longbow

Back item: (Ascended) +56 Power, +17 Precision, +18 Vitality, +35 Ferocity

Accessory: Two Opal Orichalcum Earring with a Exquisite Opal Jewel

Amulet: Soldier’s Amulet (forgot to attach something to it)

Rings: Two Opal Orichalcum Ring with a Exquisite Opal Jewel

Traits: 6/4/2/0/2
- Strength: III, IX, XI
- Arms: V, X,
- Defense: VI
- Discipline: III

Current Skills: Mending, Signet of Might, Balanced Stance, Endure Pain, Signet of Rage

With this short summery of my current build, I want to improve from it. I’d like to keep the berserkers ascended armor but willing to change everything else ( I do have a berserkers ascended back peice if needed to switch). I find I do better with a Sword (haven’t tried axe yet) then a Greatsword. If someone can point me into the right direction, I’d really appreciate it.

It’s not effective in WvW unless you’re only interested in ganking people or solo flipping camps and stuff like that, so keep in mind that its target audience is for PvE players that are level 80.

Thank you, and ya this is helping me understand Warrior a little better! I understand some of the importance of the other weapons. Also that guild about the different foods will deferentially help me when I’m on WVW. Thank you again, going to try out some new build with this guide!
