So I threw together a full set of the new Sentinel stats because I was bored, power/toughness/vitality with Vitality being the main stat. I wanted to make a pure tank/CC build that allowed some sustainment as well as damage. You can take a serious beating as well as deal good damage and have great sustainment.

Traits are as follows:
10 Arms- III (Great fortitude)
0
30 Defense- II X XI ( Doged march, Merciless hammer, Defy Pain) for 2x endure pains
30 Tactics- I VIII XIII ( Leg spec, Lung capacity, Vigourous shouts)
So I know a lot of people say shouts suck kitten, which they can, but most don’t couple the tait with high enough vitality or toughness.
Most of these traits can be reworked to harbor more defensive skills, such as an Shrug it off, etc for extra condi removal.
Runes are Melandru 6/6 with Lemongrass+ Superior sharpening stones. I do not have any sigils on weps because thats player preference, obviously if you want more power, toss bloodlust in there for an extra 250 power to give you a staggering 3426 power, or precision coupled with fgj for more crit chance etc.

Yes they don’t heal for more than 2k but fgj and shake it off are great utilities to rock, so why not have them heal?

Because you’re using 30 trait points to achieve that.
Protip: the 3,019 value isn’t actually used in any damage calculation in the game. It’s a useless value.
Also, your stats are rather deceptive, since you’re getting that extra toughness from Thick Skin.
Also, your damage must be pretty much crap, since you have sword/shield with 0 condition damage, 6% crit, 5% crit dmg and neither Deep Cuts nor Blademaster.

Because you’re using 30 trait points to achieve that.
As well as 300 vit and 30% boon duration, but that’s for another build.
Heh with the boon duration, FGJ might stacking and the Great Fortitude trait, does that mean HP goes up more?
