Guild Wars 2

I kinda decided between 2 sets, the Power, Toughness, Vitality set (Soldier one, same with runes), and the Power, Precision, Toughness set.

This 2 videos, to say shortly. Now Maybe i will make both sets, dunno, i really wanna know 1st where those sets helps you the most, which one of those 2 is better in WvW, PvE, dungeons, etc. So the set from video number 1 is good at? and the set from video number 2 is good at?

These are two terrible build for PvE. Defensive Trait and Defensive Gear will make you hit like a wet noodles. I have less defense on my WvW Zerging Guardian that these two lol.

The warrior already have plenty of defensive stats so there is no reason to invest a single points into defense unless you are still learning how to play or just want to play relax, which is just fine.

If you absolutely want to have a bit of defense boost on your Warrior then try the Meta DPS build (because Offensive trait are better that offensive gear) 30/25/0/0/15. Get yourself some berserker Trinkets and use a mix of knight/Zerker for you armor. Full zerker if you feel comfortable with it, Full knight if you feel you need a lot of defense or mix of both to find the best balance for you.

I already have full zerker, but still, i tend to die in dungeons in a few hits when i fight some boss that zergs you tons of dmg.

Zerk warrior is already op, you already have too much regeneration blocks evades and stuff. Go 30 25 0 0 15 and mix berserker with soldiers, or make a full set of knights armor if you have enough gold.

A zerk warrior actually improves the group’s survivability by killing stuff faster and rallying downed allies. A “tank” warrior is just useless in dungeons.

Bro, I asked the same question when I first started running all zerker! I am telling you, for PVE just stick with and you will learn to get better at it. For tough fights I would just put a rifle on so I could get out of the fray long enough to regen. Once you get good and dodging and evading you become a wrecking ball of damage.

Ohh… and make sure you always have at least one guard in the group

That guy is lying, you need toughness runes 30 in defense, and dolyak signet. You go down to 2700 once youre below 90% and use stability. Far from full zerker

Anyway, What would be your best advice for traits, runes and sigil. Atm i got on my set full superior Baelfire runes, sigil of force on my wep and traits are 30/30/0/0/10. And maybe some advice of other weps if it’s necessary, since i use GS most of the time.

Scholar runes are the best for pve, and if you use healing signet it will be very easy to keep your hp above 90% most of the time. I recommend you pick the fast hands minor trait, it makes your warrior’s combat style much more fun.

Unless you are rich, I recommend not purchasing any expensive runes like Scholar until the March 18th patch. Some rumours that Scholar may get nerfed and others possibly buffed. For now just use Ruby Orbs which are cheap.

From my experience zerker is good to use if you know you have organized buddies that you are running with, and Soldier’s is good for everything else. Some people still swear by zerker, but take into account that in an upcoming patch Healing Signet will be healing for 8% less overall, in addition to the changes coming to critical damage.

I try to gear around how I’m traiting because I like running balanced builds. Like if I’m jumping into a set of Knight’s, I’m going invest a good bit of my trait points into the Strength trait line for the power and condi duration, and probably throw some vitality/power trinkets on somewhere. If I’m going Soldier’s I’ll be jumping heavy into the Arms trait line and equipping + precision trinkets since Soldier’s doesn’t have any of those bonuses.

No decisions until nerf-patch. Waste of your planning and money.

I have no problem spending almost any amount of gold to min/max a build for PvE or WvW. However since we are like 3-4 weeks away from possible nerfs/buffs to runes and sigils, it might be better to wait to see what happens.

An alternate for PvE might be using ruby orbs instead of scholar runes and then replace the ruby orbs after March 18th.
