Anyone think shield block should have some sort of retaliation effect such as stun/daze/burning etc like all the pve mobs that possess a shield have?

I thin it would be a neat feature, allowing us to reccuperate faster after coming out of block and regaining an attack oppurtunity.

You can trait for projectile reflecting with blocking, which can actually be quite handy.

I think gaurdian has something like that which burns? Not sure…

Engg has a stun shield, but it’s only for 2 seconds and the blocking ends when the stun procs, so there’s a tradeoff there.

So, yeah… I dunno. I think it’s good as it is.

I always just thought the mobs version was cooler heh.

Yes it’s a guardian trait for aegis which is not very useful considering you can block once with aegis and it has very long cd.

Ah, that’s probably what I was thinking of. Don’t think I’ve ever tried using those runes before, might have to experiment a little bit.

Ah, that’s probably what I was thinking of. Don’t think I’ve ever tried using those runes before, might have to experiment a little bit.

You can try it on spvp before getting them on pve, from my experience they work quite well with engineer toolkit shield.
