Shield should reflect EVERYTHING

I would love for my engi’s shield abilities to block/reflect 3s worth instead of only one hit.
What does it not reflect?
you can be pulled by engi and mesmer, feared out, chilled/crippled by any non-projectile ground targeted aoe..dunno if im missing anything else

Well, AOE’s maybe make sense. Rest doesn’t – talking about pulls.

Necromancers have a trait that makes the staff marks unblockable. Everything should have a counter to it, that’s how some builds are effective against some and ineffective against others.. makes sense. But how ArenaNet implemented that is debatable.

Well they are forced to have jagged horror if they want that, and that thing has caused more deaths for groups and necros themselves then any trait should ever be allowed. Little things has aggrod on its own, lupi still gets a buff sometimes (patch for grubs is still not in the game but it is there), AI is just horrible, used to die in under 10 seconds, used to keep them in combat (seems to be fixed), still can be kited around by players so it never hits them, list goes on.
If it was an engineer, I’d say fine. But how the hell do you want to reflect a friggin MAGNET PULL? You could say, balanced stance should make the engi pull himself to you. That makes sense… But shield? Be glad, he pulls you and doesn’t simply pull your shield out of the weapon slot hehe.

Do you want it to reflect melee attacks or something? You know, when you get blocked by an enemy’s shield your sword slash doesn’t magically bounce back on your face. You still have your arm attached to your weapon, kinda. Unless you are Donald Duck, maybe.

And that’d be so op in many ways.
you can block all the time in realy life, should have 10s block time would be nice counter to thiefs bursts, what u think, also group of warriors in line when zerg incomeing, will stop the zerg dead, what you think.

I disagree. I think the zerg would roll over them.
Unless it was a warrior zerg-line that quickly broke ranks and happened to be a bigger zerg.
