Should I change something (PvP build)
I can add that I actually have a lot of trouble with blinds/thiefs most of the time. What should I do to change that?
you can consider this
0/0/6/2/6
brawler’s recovery might help with blinds.
It’s more of a WvW build. You should always have a longbow for PvP – that weapon fits every build and helps you proc Cleansing Ire every time. The amulet & runes are also too heavily influenced by WvW, never run knight stats and if you have problem with conditions take Hoelbrak. Sigil of force is not worth it, for damage you need air/fire.
You should go Hambow or GSbow, but you shouldn’t keep both weapons in the same build. You can browse viable builds here btw.
@ Deimos Tel Arin:
I’ll try that out but you didn’t update the link so got the exact build back ^.^. If you have trait/utility and amulet advice please tell me.
@ Witcher:
I’ll take air runes instead of the force ones then. But I don’t want to change my weapon set haven’t got so much fun in this game ever; Plus everyone uses a bow, might come as a surprise if I came in without. It’s literally the most boring weapon in the game IMO. I’ll swap the amulet around a bit and try to find something fitting. I’ll use hoelbrak runes for now then too.
oh! sorry i forgot to generate a link
here you go.
regarding the amulet, i am using knights amulet myself in ranked arena PvP and it greatly enhances my survivability so i won’t change that.
if you are playing with some friends together in ranked arena PvP or unranked arena PvP you can consider swapping signet of rage out for battle standard, with greatsword, you can travel around quickly to force uneven battles, and use battle standard to revive allies if required.
to be safe, use balanced stance before attempting to use battle standard to revive your friends.
Tried using this build with some tweaks; (rousing resillience for example). Turned out to work aswell but was worse vs thiefs & mesmers so changed it back to Spiked Armor. Leg specialist works great too; Kind of missed a reliable root. Thanks ^^.
And tried the standard aswell; but forgot to use balanced stance before first time… Never making that mistake again if I see a D/P thief =).
Thanks I figured it out now ^^.
