I currently play thief in PvE and sometimes WvW roaming with S/D and I just want to ask if I should reroll to warrior for PvE and WvW after they have revealed the new changes to traits? Is warrior getting MASSIVELY buffed or just staying the same or getting worse, or just a little bit better?

In PvE warriors are becoming un-freaking-believably strong.

Phalanx build gets one of the biggest buffs in the history of GW2. You can take 66060 and if you want to run full solo DPS you get to take 66006.

I am very sad about the disastrous nerfs to ele, but super happy about the amazing buffs to warrior.

Warrior’s change is totally insane..
The 20% bonus damage for 10 second when use a burst skill is totally out of reach.
Forceful GS is even more powerful, that not only it grants free 25 stacks might, it also increases your dps by 10%.

Not to mention warrior also got 10% free damage to bleeding foe, and 15% increase attack speed and bonus damage when duel wielding.

Warrior will once again becomes the highest dps class in dungeon…

I’ve just read the changes they envision for warriors… This is just insane… I was already not bad at all with a warrior, with that I’ll be no less than invincible, both in physical damage and condition damage builds… If it wasn’t on Dulfy, I’d have called many fakes already, some things look incredibly overpowered…

I still have to study other classes to see if the class balance is preserved, but yes, warriors will receive a major buff

Honestly you are the only one to asnwer this. The answer is both yes and no. Thief is also getting love, as with all classes, and everything that is known will be tweaked. Some people prefer thief playstyle, others warrior. Just cuz a class could get “MASSIVELY” buffed doesnt mean it’s intended to be supreme over others.

I wouldn’t make any major decisions yet, as the traits have not been balanced yet, so we can expect many changes to come from what we saw today. However, warrior is fun and always welcome pretty much everywhere so I would give it a try if you are interested.

You have to remember that all of that stuff is still in early testing. It’s extremely likely a lot of it will be toned down by a fair amount or end up being completely different.

I wouldn’t get too excited until the changes are live.

Super super super excited. If it stays the way is it is. Sadly I feel they’ll do a bait and switch – get us super hyped up with buffs and end up nerfing us more. Just my expectations..
