Guild Wars 2

Hey guys, I’m struggling slightly. I would like a build that can take more then a few hits in pve while not hitting like a wet noodle. i have tried a full cleric/banner and a H-Shout build but i find the damage lacking.

Recently I tried a full glass cannon rifle/GS spec and the damage is immensly satisfying, but i find when i do take damage i go down faster than non plate wearers. Now i don’t expect to go toe to toe with mobs, but i’d like to endure enough punishment to get out a full 100B.

I’ve tried regearing towards AC gear mixed with some zerker gear but die just as fast, if not faster then if I stick with full zerker gear because adds die faster and i take more damage.

Are there any builds i might have missed that can offer more of a “warriory” playstyle as i’m getting sick of the sound of my rifle and the lack of melee solutions/alternatives.

I know there are possible builds on the net, unfortunately I don’t enough time at present to give it my full attention.

Here is a build that I made for fractals and condition heavy dungeons. Although it relies on the use of food to be 100% effective it is a well rounded build IMHO. You can tank little more but still get some nice DPS and AoE damage. It has great condition removal and group support. If you run solo you can replace “healing shouts” and “shake it off” for something a little more selfish like “burning arrows” and “bulls rush” or “balance stance”.
