Is a build like this still viable? I remember it was big back in 2012 but I havent heard a lot about it lately.. I was thinking about crafting my ascended armor as cleric, but everyone seems to go Berserkers.

I am looking to make something viable for WvW, and PvE. (not Dungeons).

it’s meta for pvp and gets good use in wvw too. i run a shout heal build on one of my warriors in both modes. however i only stack enough healing power to get 2k shoutheals, and put the rest into other stats.

unfortunately no, its not big anymore lol. everyone goes berserker with stances or guilds set their own warrior builds for zergs

shoutbow works pretty good in pvp but it doesnt work well in wvw

youre more than welcome to check out my shout gs/hm videos and see if you like it first, then try it out. is not as strong as a gs/hm 04604 or 02606 but it does has more survivability and group support

I’m using shout heals for my PvE tank build. No condi remove runes because I just like Defender runes a lot more for those hard and aggressive hitters, but I might turn around and get the Trooper runes if it proves necessary enough. So far I’m getting by with Cleansing Ire and Shake it offx2 for condis.

I just love how most champions do diddly squat on me and I even managed to find a place for my build in dungeons. People will get mad I’m doing little damage, but screw them. I rather not try to pay attention to NPC damage spikes and end up flat on my rear almost all the time.

So, I’m happy as a tank in PvE. Thanks to the shouts and regen I don’t have to wait a long time to heal before getting back in the fight, even though my damage is little compared to everyone else. Hey, I can still solo champions and kill things anyway, albeit slow, even with my bleeding. That’s good enough for me.

i based my gearset off one of Wilson Storm’s builds, but modified it for shouts. with 00662 i only need clerics amulet, earrings and backpiece. the rest of my gear is mostly a Cav, Zerk mix. my shouts heal for 1962, i have 3200 armour, 2200 power. works well with the high fury uptime from FGJ and SoR, and duel intelligence sigils.

i would give Wilson and his builds a look, he’s real rad.

So what do you really think after watching some my videos?
Because my power can go up to 3000, +200% critical dmg, +65% critical chance and +2700 armor

Well after the trait update my build is going to be ruin and no longer perform the same, it’s also going to get out damage easily by any other berserker warrior. And even though healing surge is going to become a shout it wouldn’t help at all :/

the power is without might, bloodlust or stacks. it could be a lot higher too.

the shoutheals aren’t just for me. i pull this warrior out for small group. i have a full zerk killshot warr, and a bunch of other 80s i play as well. sometimes group support is something i want to bring, sometimes not.
