Probably only the billionth time these two have been compared.
Dolyak 90 Toughness =/= Judgement 10% Damage Redux

I forget the exact math, but I think 90 toughness worked out to be about 1% damage reduction for the average warrior. Yes, the active is good, but not 9% difference good.

Any chance this is getting corrected in the upcoming “signet patch” I’ve been hearing about on the forums? I heard they’re “doubling” a lot of signet passives. 90 tough to 180 tough? Still hardly seems on par with Judgement Signet.

They really need to either change the Guardian one, or change the toughness ones.

My pipe dream is that they make Dolyak a stun breaker, have it give a shorter amount of stability so it doesn’t outclass Balanced Stance. If this happened in combination with the Signet of Might buff I could see signet warriors being a thing in PvP.

A full zerker warrior will see about 4% less damage with the 90 pt signet

So about 8% for the new one

A medium tanky player (2700 defense) will get about 6.6% less damage from +180 toughness

If you think 90 is bad, try ranger’s signet of stone. 35 toughness. They better increase that to 180 as well.
