Signet of Might for PvP/WvW
I’ve started to run signet of might for this exact reason, it’s also good if you want to run rifle against all the reflects. I swapped out balanced stance for it and traited for stability and stun break when going into zerk. It’s not the same without the stance but wvw has become an awful bunker game with combat mostly looking like “block block invuln invuln block”
Right, right. I would definitely consider that. My issue is that the 10% damage and Taunt are amazing. I used to take the Stability but I wound up recently switching to be more offensive. I’m debating taking out Endure Pain. The idea behind that is with SoM I can apply so much pressure that maybe I don’t need the double tankiness and I can push them into a bad situation instead.
I currently run it on the usual Axe/Shield-GS berserker build. With Eternal Champion I don’t find Balanced Stance or Dolyak Signet to be that important so that is what I switched out for it. The passive is nice to keep the pressure up and the active definitely helps in crucial moments when you need to make sure your Arcing Slice/Decapitate lands to get adrenal health going again or your headbutt doesn’t get blocked. In casual play opponents usually feel safe for their block’s duration so you can get free kills or cause them to panic by hitting them hard when they don’t expect it. High rank play might be another story though.
Another awesome thing is it has a small cool down of about 25sec. It took me a long time to get used to not using the stance though, I tried losing endure pain and relying on the passive proc in defense but I found it unreliable. I’m going to try again going for the taunt and 10% increase and see if I can live without the stability, hopefully kill before I’m cced
I think the play for me is subbing out Endure Pain and seeing how that plays. It will likely be too little defense for the current meta, but maybe it will allow me to counter some classes nicely.
I’ve been running double might sig since S1 when the bunker meta was firmly in play. You’re incredibly late to the party, but w/e. To answer your question, yes, run it. Depending on your setup, either take endure/might/berserk, or you can drop endure if you have the defense line. Balanced can be done without in a variety of ways. But it all depends on your playstyle.
oh signet of might, i never thought about using it. thank you bro
i thought it was useless skill that grants 180 power on passive

Signet of Might had been a favorite of mine because I seem to be enamored with Warrior’s Rifle, and unblockable/unreflectable Killshots are tasty. But even beyond Killshot, it’s useful having anywhere from 25% to 60% unblockable uptime. Especially handy for all the DH that people are erroneously complaining about.
