I’ve been looking for a build that can run between keeping alive and being able to kill junk. Right now I have this Frontline Shout build 0/0/4/6/4 Hammer Sword/WH which is great at getting around and staying alive, but has been horrible at killing those menders. Has anyone been running about here have a better idea?

The 6\5\0\0\3 meta build is fine for silverwastes. Go GS and S+warhorn for mobility. The more dps you have the better will be your survivability, its easier to rally and stuff.

I found the problem with the meta build was just taking hits from the chargers. I want to be able to survive them mostly.

Slot in an immob, chill or cripple and hit the teragriff as its about to charge. Problem solved. With a sword you can just go up to them and slash away with #1 and they’ll never get to charge at all.

For SW in general you need lots of condi cleansing, CC, stability and burst. I ended up switching out my full zerker armor for some Valkyrie as well as taking all those skills with me and I do alright (unless I’m stuck at blue by myself taking on 12 mobs at once :-[

If you’re using the standard 65003 Gs+* build you can just save Whirl Wind Attack for when they charge rather than spam it on cool down.

When mobs have a mechanic, you should adapt your rotation to them rather than look for a different build in order to avoid learning how to mitigate their skillset.

I know who I am, do you know who you are?
