I tossed this build together and was wondering if anybody would go ahead and make comments on it/pros and cons, etc… It lacks condition removal, but it only has mobile strikes plus restorative strength, so i guess that counts as something. it’s a pvpbased build…so don’t expect greatness from this

…Why would you take a hammer without Unsuspecting Foe or Merciless Hammer?

And why would you go 20 in Defense without taking Dogged March, Cleansing Ire, OR Merciless Hammer?

The Grandmaster traits for Strength are just bad.
Cull The Weak is just plainly worse than Dogged March, especially with a zero mobility build like this.
Mobile Strikes, yet you have no low cost movement abilities
Vigorous Focus, yet you have only one stance, and you’re taking it over Warrior’s Sprint in a zero mobility build.

Rune of Svanir is just pointless, and Soldiers/Cleric without Unsuspecting Foe means you have the damage potential of a staff guardian.

On My Mark is just a bad skill, like the rest of the shouts, and Bulls Charge is useless in this build without Merciless Hammer, and even then it’s not worth the utility slot.

I don’t get why you’re taking Axe/Mace either. That combo does not work at all in PvP, and Axe mainhand doesn’t make sense in a very obviously non-burst build.

Longbow is used for burst + ability #3. #4 and #5 are situational, but #5 then swapping to hammer to use the burst is a good strategy.

You can also replace the amulet with a solider amulet probably, I don’t think that will have much damage potential though.

The biggest weakness to this build is going to be its mobility and blind spam.

Pros:
You’ve got some decent to high damage here.
You’ve got a good knockdown or two as well as some good CC.
You’ve got good access to stability.
If you ambush successfully someone you should KO them quite easily.
You’ve got bullsrush + mobile strikes.

Cons:
You’ve got no sigils
You’ve got runes that’ll end up killing you at 20% hp.
You’ve got horrendous condi removal. It’ll destroy you.
You’ve got a trait that would never do anything for you (Cull the Weak).
You’ve got only one movement skill on a 32 second cooldown. That’s not very useful for that last disc trait.
You’ve got low mobility

Classes this could work against:
Ranger
mesmer
thief

Classes this probably wouldn’t work against:
Warrior
Engie
Necro
guardian
elementalist
Ranger with stability
Mesmer with stun breaks
Thieves that use conditions.

LOL I know! It wasn’t exactly 100% complete, i’m just thrown random ideas and builds together to see if I can get something to pop that isn’t already a no-skill skullcrack 100b or somthin. Plus I couldn’t make up my mind about sigils or runes, ESPECIALLY the runes. XP
Like i said, it has low condi removal, and it’s more of a pug-build. idk y I posted it, im just kinda bored atm and want ppl’s suggestions to builds and stuff. I’ve made completely better builds than that, but i’m just goin back to easy-mode

Throwing random abilities and weaponsets around is not how you make builds. Also, M/S GS is not a “skilless” build. If you think it is you are obviously not very informed about warriors and should practice a bit more before making builds. I would reply more but on my phone.

I didn’t quite mean Skill-less…but to me, it just seems like such a simple build, like the previous Bulls Rush 100b combo that used to rock the scene back in the day.
It’s effective, but every1 uses it now and it’s easily countered…kind of, if played against it smart.

And I can just imagine how that conversation would go over the phone Ashanor…I can imagine there would be plenty of “constructive criticism” from you :P and it’d be quite a long, unnerving convo. So yeah, I get ya. I just wasn’t quite thinking so much about my reply there
