Skull build
Half of the warrior community did, when they saw the buff.
The other half didn’t think of it because they didn’t like the concept, at least at first.
because he doesn’t know it himself
what? is there a link? sry but i’m back on my warrior from a long time…
I just hope that if A-Net nerfs this, they return the Mace stun instead of messing with the Trait. This build worked fine before the patch.
If anything from the videos posted they should realize that the ability to stack “minus condition duration” in WvW is op and shouldn’t be allowed just like speed/endurance stacking isn’t. But fortunately they nerf more around sPvP where hopefully this build wont be deemed OP.

Not the finest probably, but you get the idea:
your goal is to use the combo Skull Crack + Hundred Blades.
Unsuspectiong Foe gives you a lot of freedom with the amulet. Even with Soldier’s Amulet, your burst won’t be much less effective.
Skull Crack is a bit hard to land, but it’s on a fairly low cooldown.
because he doesn’t know it himself
I had 2 threads dealing with the build:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/warrior/PvP-Build-Skull-Cracker/first
I made a updated version with Zerker Stance because I love that skill now, the thread got buried because there’s be a ton of them being made recently and I posted it at a poor time:
Old Man Burr (War), Bad Hat Ben (Engi), Manly Manny Manson (Guard)
heres the build for wvw:
and heres a video:
There are many variations of this build, but a few of them that haven’t been mentioned as of yet are as follows.
High Damage/Tank Mace Build
This build takes advantage of having very high uptime on Skull Crack and even easier Adrenaline gains due to Burst Mastery. It is also extremely powerful due to 1800+ Power, 50% crit damage, 20% extra damage when under 50% HP. The crit chance is a bit low but is not needed desperately due to fury and 50% extra crit chance while stunned. Lyssa runes are used due to the relatively low CD on SoR and gives you a free condition clear with defensive boon generation. You are also pretty tanky so you do not go down that easily. A very safe build.

High Damage/Quick Finisher
This build boasts very high power, crit chance and has the ability to finish off somebody in one single combo. It is still fairly survivable due to having endure pain, berserker stance and last stand so you still have chances to land a combo though you may fail the first time.

All-in Glass/Quick Finisher
This build is probably the most powerful and bursty build you could possibly go. It boasts 2300 power and 58% crit chance. More than enough to hit 15K+ Hundred Blades even on tankier targets. However, your adrenaline gain is terribad, you must finish your opponent off quickly otherwise you are dead due to how squishy this build is. I would not recommend it at all unless you are elite status.

Decent Damage/Support Build
This build doesn’t boast the most amount of damage but is a decent little support build. It has decent condition removal, can remove conditions and heal allies as well as yourself. Pretty durable, shines mostly in a team setting. Does decent damage.

Many of these builds I have posted also have variations within themselves, some may opt for different traits or allocate 10 points somewhere else.
A relative constant in most builds is Missile Deflection, Cleansing Ire, Unsuspecting Foe, Sigil of Fire, Sigil of Paralyzation. Many tend to use greatsword. Stances are very popular choices as utilities and rightfully so. Some may go Dolyak Signet, or Signet of Stamina.
The build usually starts with x/10/20/x/20 as a template. From there a popular choice is to dump 10 more into 2/3 trait lines of defense, tactics and discipline. However I have seen 20 into tactics for empowered and desperate power.
o.O the private messages don’t even make sense, the engi died not the warrior… he must be used to people whispering him about his dumb hacks
@Player Character apparently he thought the engineer was using some sort of speed hack to keep up with him. If the Engineer was infact cheating and the warrior still killed him then awesome, props to the warrior. And if he wasnt cheating, well, then the warrior still killed him. Either way props to the warrior. Id complain about people cheating even if i killed them.
I think the point of the video is to illustrate how to play the Skull build which seems to be a decent build for roaming in WvW.

It might be skyhammer:
since the patch, while messing in hotjoin, people call me noob if I kill them 1v1 with my warrior. If later they manage to kill me (luck, elites, stuff like that), they don’t say a thing.
It’s like some people feel the game is reversed now: the one who dies wins. The first team to reach 500 loses.XD

Skull build tuned for spvp.

The private messages show the warrior calling the engineer a noob because he got the living puppy owned out of him while using a hack, and the engineer calling him an offensive term using some kind of broken-up pseudo-English. I think you guys are reading them in the wrong direction.

I think he’s trying to say that he’ll get revenge on you by killing you later and yell hack as well.He probably thought you boasted about killing him with a hack?

Yeah thanks to the one who made that build. I was using the same traits on my S/Shield/LB warrior for a while 0-10-20-10-30. I never used really used a Great sword since launch. I also had Braham’s shield/mace and a GS in my bank that was pretty much only using bank space.
Now I just run away I do a quick trait/gear change, I switch from my old self to the skull crusher build and vice versa. I also have a reason to use Braham weapons now.
