Slave of Warrior's Sprint
Have you tried rune of the traveler? Give you a permanent 20% speed boost..
Or use Pack runes along with SoR and maybe balanced stance for out if combat swiftness.

Hey guys my build is GS / Axe and shield. Trying to come up with a nice combination in my build but i always find myself slave of discipline just because of the warrior`s sprint trait. Without this trait I feel so freaking annoyed. Tried using war horn but the movement speed buff last only for 10 secs lol. How do u guys manage to walk around without the discipline trait?
Warhorn is terribad. Pretty much what everyone else said. Just maintain swiftness somehow while fighting and you are fine. I mean the real problem is that it allows movement skills to break immobilize…which is something that is hard to live without when running all melee Then no fasthands makes ur melee only build trash as well. I mean I would argue that fasthands and movement skills breaking immobilize are what really keep you a sslave to disc.

After playing revenant with facet of elements i feel handicapped playing warrior w/o warrior’s sprint trait.
IMO every class who runs elite spec should have swiftness passive, as this game is about running everyplace.

At one point, that was what helped Warrior be strong. Sig of Rage was pretty much perma swiftness with fury and might. Rev can stand there and do NOTHING and gain what? 12 stacks of might and perma swiftness? GG
That’s what helped warriors catch up to their enemies, but now that swiftness, quickness, GTFO skills are all over the place as high up time and passives, Warriors have a much harder time keeping up with anything making us easily to be kite-able.
Also, Revs have 1200 range gap closer… lawl… That needs to be reduced with the swiftness buff only affect themselves (not the party) IMO.
i run GS + sw/sh, its the ultimate “get out of dodge” spec, it lets me play full zerker and then slip away if i’m taking too much damage.
between GS 5+3 and sword 2 you have a ton of manoeuvrability
the down side is that you’re limited pretty much to GS for offence,
sword #3 is a tasty on lower health targets though
its the only way i can ditch warrior’s sprint and still feel mobile.

Yes, I play the same for the same reasons. But we’re not the fastest out of combat, and only about the middle of the pack (or less) in terms of in-combat mobility, even with that spec. It used to be different, but years of people complaining about Nascar/Nike warriors got us pinched.
The reason this spec can get you out of a lot of jams is because you choose the moment of escape. Most thieves, rangers, engineers, elementalists, revenants, and even the occasional mesmer can do the same to you.
And that’s when running the fastest warrior spec available, and accepting the damage loss by running power sword to do it.
