Small QoL change to Sword auto
I think Hamstring works well in keeping your enemy from kiting the everloving kitten out of you. It also gets a significant boost if you opted for Leg Specialist and even more so if you also tacked on Opportunist. And with Opportunist, you could also opt for Deep Strike.
It can keep the cripple just as Necro sceptre has poison but gain an actual damaging condition too.
Kind of hoping in addition to bleed on the third chain, they up the power damage on both sword and offhand sword. I long for the days when it had Final thrust on the end chain :<. I want to see Impale→ Rip get buffed too, it sort of needs it.

Final Thrust seems like classic Anet thematics over practicality. Sword is a condi weapon and Final Thrust just doesn’t fit in. Give it a Feast of Corruption overhaul.
The lack of a condi on sword’s hamstring in comparison to Necro scepter is balanced by 3 factors:
1) the sword chain attacks faster than the scepter chain
2) the sword can hit 3 targets, while the scepter can only hit one,
3) The sword’s bleeds have a base duration of 8 sec, while the necro bleed has a base duration of 4.5 sec, and poison a base duration of 6 sec. edit: For a one-on-one fight the scepter is better on this point, but once 2-3 mobs are in the fray the sword is better.
A fourth but minor balancing fact is that the base damage and damage modifier of the sword is higher than the necro’s scepter, making it shine best as a hybrid weapon as opposed to a condi-only weapon (especially when considering the other 1-h sword skills, main and off-hand).
I think the sword is fine as-is, even when compared to the necro scepter.

Sword actually functions pretty well regardless of your build. Final Thrust has a very high damage modifier and the mobility from Savage Leap is awesome. Sword can also function as a hybrid if you opt for Viper stats, as that’ll give you good condi damage while maintaining decent power for Final Thrust.
Personally, I had been waiting for something like Viper’s so that Sword could reach its full potential.

This is true though i still think sword should get a bit of a direct damage buff on the Autos, to give it a more threatening punch if you want to focus more on the power side. I think offhand sword needs help though still, Impale/Rip need to either provide benefits for ripping the blade out of someone, or Rip needs a bigger direct damage buff or additional stacks of torment.
