So Here's The Plan ;)

That’s sorta silly. I assume you mean solo PvE? Solo PvE is all about killing things before they kill you. You don’t really need any tank until you start doing dungeons.
Do you even lift, bro?
I’ll do dungeons a lot too, I just wanna try something different than the ‘typical warrior’.

I hear you.
But turtling is silly as a Warrior wanting to do PvE. You’re going to take forever to kill anything.
Do you even lift, bro?
maybe you should forget about planning a warrior and just let it happen?
These classes don’t even gel until 20 or so, and everyone moves and interacts differently with the game.
Besides, there is no way to follow a “build” of any kind until you get beyond level 35 when triple traits are available on gear, and even then you can only choose a max of 2 slotted traits.
By 65 you will start to see a trend in what does and does not work for you. At 80 ou may have a good idea of what armor you want and will be experimenting with upgrades, jewelry and weapon stats. At 120 (yeah 40 relevels into endgame) you will start to narrow it down, possibly choosing swappable sets of gear.
But at level 1? Don’t pigeonhole yourself, and remember that what works for some may not work for you.

If I had to do an extreme tanky ranged build maybe this: http://intothemists.com/calc/?build=-so-70;9;9;7J-JT-21;217-39Bu
Nothing I would want to use. No synergy I feel between using both ranged weapons if that is indeed your plan. Now if you want to use bow and hammer, you can get some trait synergy going and be a very support based character.
I do agree with the others though, its best to learn a play style you like and then branch out from there. You will at the very least see the ups and downs of each weapon combination in different scenarios.
The whole point of being ranged is to be glass cannon (or at least focused on dps). Because the range IS your defense. Otherwise melee will whole heartily out dps you while still being just as, if not more tanky.
PvE may have more effective routes but in the end it doesnt matter all that much.
Personally i suggest one weapon for pure dps and another for a more defensive nature.
I hate glass conning in dungeons because as it turns out, for me anyway, its pointless. The purpose behind GC is to kill the enemy before they kill you which is basically not possible in dungeons.
thats my $.02 there.
however in non boss pve content going full glass is pretty much fine.
still i like to have a shield or a mace available in in my overland pve for when the fight gets tough.
the health regen trait, adrenalin on hit, and regen signet make most at level normal mobs simply unable to hurt the warrior. I have gone afk with a single mob hitting me just fine and in lower than my level… groups.
In my humble opinion my best way of learning a class is to pvp.
Not everything applies to pve from pvp but some basic stuff does and still a lot of abilities do. Plus i learn the flow better.
