Guild Wars 2

I was all geared up in my head to throw them on my warrior for the lulz, but I just can’t bring myself to use them. They are just SO cheesy that I am having a hard time justifying actually using them on a stun set in WvW. I’d honestly feel bad for using them.

Should I hold off to see how Anet changes them or just bite the bullet and make me a set of armor with them for the laughs?

Seriously want to know what other long time warriors feel/think about these runes.

I use them on a set of armor when I feel like trolling people when we get stuck with a bad matchup. Don’t use them for serious friendly duels though. They are WAY too cheap and overpowered. If you can afford to get a second set of armor and don’t mind using the runes to troll people, go for it. It’s not like you cant salvage the armor later and get them back and sell them after the inevitable nerf. Do not make the mistake of using badges to get the 2nd set of armor, you cant salvage that.

OK, yeah, that’s pretty much what I was thinking. I might just grab some dinky armor off the tp and throw them on there and mess around for a bit.

I have one armour with those runes… and i never use it. Its too cheesy. But in 1v1 its worst with a daze thief.

If you have something that grants you an edge over your future victim, use it without remorse. Remember, a Warrior is only truly warm in his/her heart when he/she feels the flames of those burned in his/her wake…

hehe, well, i did have some fun with it last night. Got some masterwork apoth gear from the TP and threw them on there and went out into WvW to get some Yaks/find some roamers. Was definitely fun those first few times they came at me and realized too late that I was running perps. Granted I was only running the mace/shield with bulls, and stomp and had a longbow for some condi trolling instead of hammer, but it was still neat. Became more fun when i met up with some other servermates and really confused some people (pun sorta intended).
