I find it a little odd that mesmers get a evade on their sword #2 skill (very similar to 100b; they’re rooted when using it), and we don’t get one on 100b. Not sure if this is an obvious balance issue or what. What do you guys think?

As you can see, 100b has a little bit of a shorter cool-down, but tons more damage. However Blurred Frenzy does about the same damage in its shorter channel time as 100b.

Basicly, Blurred Frenzy is a lot better. Many just dodge out of 100b way before it finishes.

The intention of blurred frenzy is to allow mesmers a chance to “survive” melee encounters. There was actually a discussion about this on the spvp forums. The topic was about whether or not blurred frenzy should receive a slight nerf. There was alot of response from the community. You should take a look at whats left of it. (It was gutted by the moderators earlier today)

100b needs some type of effect, whether evade or ANYTHING really. the thought that such a skill wouldnt even cause weakness, or ANYTHING literally is quite absurd. I always thought more of a “power” effect like knockdown etc..

Imho, if 100b autofaced like blurred frenzy, I’d be happy.

I would change 100b into something opposite to blurred frenzy: area denial.

How about let’s combine wwa bulls charge and the regular hb in one. You start the skill off like wwa but instead of whirling to them you bulls charge to them, and if u hit u can knock them down and do the rooted hb

Haha this makes me laugh. The damage of this skill was hurt and now it is slower because of quickness fix. I don’t even have to react to this skill anymore.

Well, that’s the problem right there. No one has to worry about 100b at all in pvp. the only way a warrior can actually land it is with Bull charge/Bolas, meaning that warriors essentially rely on the utilities. No class should rely on their utilities to land one of their weapon skills. My whole point here is how unbalanced it seems (t0 me at least), that mesmers get a skill extremely similar to 100b (just a little different damage etc.), but theirs comes with an evade attacks while casting. They also have an immobilize with their weapon skills (when running S/D skill #3 the second cast), so they don’t need utilities at all to actually land it. I just don’t see why or how this is balanced.
Edit: Let me say this too. Yes, the damage on 100b can be extremely high WHEN it lands. If your utilities are down, the chances of you actually landing it are practically zero

Yes i will enjoy being op against every warrior unless they fix it. (I will never play the class to win duels or tournies or get points) I only play it to see if they changed anything haha.

Okay, this is obvious. It’s fair. 100b does a lot more dmg. Mesmers get evade. Both skills are easy to miss with btw. not just 100b, since you can’t move or it gets interrupted.

If we take a full zerker warrior vs. a full zerker mesmer, so pure dps – the only way these skills compaired to each other can be fair is the way they are. You can’t get the superior dmg AND an auto evade while doing it…

Move while channeling+ shorter channel → fixed. They can even reduce the damage at that point if they need too.
