I realize, of all things, this is probably a silly thing to complain about.
But I am really sick of hearing the words “For Great Justice” every ~20 seconds.

Anyone else feel the same way?

Was hoping to find a way to alter the voice to say something else or mute it >.<
Got no idea how to alter the sound file to say something else, or play a different file/mute it. If anyone knows how to do this, please make an instruction, you will make everyone <3 you forever =D

Speaking of annoying things warriors say, is it within the TOS to tweek it so that when my warrior is losing adrenalin he does not say ‘gaining adrenalin!’? I know it’s probably not, so here’s hoping Arenanet fix it in a patch, as it drives me potty!!

Oh my god, as soon as I saw this thread I rejoiced. It’s the only reason I never use the stupid shout. It’s even worse when you have 2-3 warriors of different races/genders.

Yea they seriously need to fix the way one person’s shout cuts off the other. Would also be nice if they changed FGJ to a more interesting quote. I feel like WvW would be 10x better if right before bursting down a gate all the warriors could yell “FOR NARNIAAAAAA”

I found that if I time my shouts just right, I can get my norn warrior to say..

“Shake it for great justice! FEAR ME!”

Then just do a /dance while everyone runs away.

I only hear male humans/norn usually..playing my female Sylvari now and it sounds so much better…only fear me sounds stupid >_>

I hate that the skill is so good you’re pretty much forced to take it.

I haven’t yet, fortunately when/if I do, I don’t play with sound enabled, that would drive me nuts.

The best is when 3 or 4 warriors are sitting at the auction house trader all spamming it for like 10 minutes… haha

There is a specific Dialogue volume slider in your audio options. While this slider will mute the dialogue in cut scenes, it will also prevent in-game dialogue for abilities like shouts.

I actually really enjoy that characters speak when using shouts and have a random chance to “proc” a voice clip when getting boons and conditions. Me and my girlfriend constantly joke and say things from the game. And yes do mashups of warrior shouts.

My world of warcraft characters are much more lifeless in comparison. Which is probably a good thing, in pvp in that game you get so many debuffs/dots/stuns/sleeps that they wouldn’t ever shut up!
