Some incoming changes?
Rampage has counters and it’s an elite; it’s supposed to be a temporary game changer like Necros, and Mesmers elites.
This is one of the most balanced patches we’ve had in quite some time. The only thing I’d change is the amount of burning stacks a single class can put on in a short time but other than that, this patch is amazing.
Rampage is not that hard to counter. People are currently getting the hang how to fight it. I have been using that skill for over a year and when I used to see a good player I knew it was worthless using it on him because they knew how to counter it.
It’s an elite skill and should be dangerous but it share many strength/weakness with the warrior class. The move set is heavily telegraphed and there are things that are currently meta that will destroy any warriors while using that skill.
Rampage is pretty straight forward and there is nothing exotic about it.
The warrior that are hitting really hard with it are the full DPS one.(As they should) When you face a PTV rampage it get a lot less dangerous. They are tougher but lack the burst and are easier to survive.
It’s the same situation as longbow ranger but the rangers longbow skills was a bigger PITA imo. We complained how it was unbalanced, we then learned how to fight it and now no one really care.

lol i laugh at warriors who rampage on me, i just out kite them.
Most class as way to counter this. Warriors that use it are generally easy to spot. Necro might have less options.
nothing has been made for rifle and too much nerfed shout gg
My Stream : http://www.twitch.tv/eSportsKorea see me vs Tarcis, Chaith, Crysis and etc!
rampage is fine. the attacks are so slow any player with eyes can dodge or blind it to death.
Sharpened axes needs to be switched with forceful greatsword however not merciless hammer. Greatsword does a flat 10% dmg might on crit with no internal cooldown and reduced recharge.
I didn’t even notice the loss lol
Move “Leg specialist” to adept strength, adept strength lacks some good traits (only the physical.. but what if you dont run rampage? and “Leg specialist” doesnt fit into tactics.
lot of good ideas here, but this left me scratching my head
Personally, I’d like to see the warrior lines cleaned up a bit and made a bit more distinctive.
For example:
Strength: Physical, Knockbacks, Might
Discipline: Rage Management and Swapping
Tactics: Movement/Cripple, Party Buffs,
Defense: Add interrupts, confusion, etc
Arms: Condition Damage and Criticals
Move “Phalanx Strength” and “Reviver’s Might” into Strength
“Building Momentum”, “Stick and Move”, “Axe” move to Discipline
“Warriors Sprint”, “Opportunist”, “Banners” move to Tactics
“Distracting Strikes”, “Shrug it Off”, “Hammer” moves to defense
“Burning Arrows” move to Arms
(I haven’t thought through all the moves, but those at least ‘make sense’ to me. I am sure at least something there is not appropriate; just trying to demonstrate the idea, it’s not a fully thought out plan or anything.)
