Okay so in the power trait line I’ve got the trait that gives me x% damage increase per Lviv of adrenaline and in the discipline trait line the trait that gives you 75% of one bar per shout, rolling 3 shouts. So that means I can pretty much spam Lv 3 eviscerate as soon as its 10 sec cd is qover. However would I actually do more damage if I was to save the eviscerates and just get the 12%passive buff and just use eviscerate as a surprise burst to finish low hp’s?

I think the purpose of eviscerate is to be an ideal opportunistic strike as you described. In other words, I don’t spam it either – and only use it if i need to ‘leap’ a short distance to my target or to finish off an opponent with a surprise burst of damage.

Ultimately I have found the auto attack damage to equal the burst damage of eviscerate in the same amount of time.

^ Yes, over time it is the same damage with those traits. So maybe using eviscerate for one swift killing blow vs one more round of auto attack is the only time eviscerate would be fastest.

With that said, I wish they’d add some other effect to eviscerate to make it have some upper hand over the auto attack, like a 1 sec daze or immobilize.

If you have Healing Surge equipped as your heal you could always use it right after you activate Eviscerate to recharge your Adrenaline back to 3 bars.

Ah thanks guys. And yeah eviscerate seems a bit lack lustre for an ultimate. It’s leap distance is really average and bugs up on slopes and there should totally be an after effect

Has anyone done any math to show that a 3-Bar Evis doesn’t do considerably more damage than auto-attack? Because I think it does. >.>

Considering that If i crit for all the auto attacks my dmg is somewhere in the range of 6k 2k(3) + the previous auto attacks at 1200 each assuming they all crit 3(1200) 3600 total of around 9.6k which takes about 3-5 seconds to get off. Or an instant 8-10k…Ya evsic does SIGNIFICANTLY more dmg.

Even ifyou have +12% more dmg from a full 3 bars to find out just multiply all the numbers by .12 before you add them. You’re total is going to be somewhere around 10k. but its going to take 3-5 seconds to get that dmg off. Or get it off anyway and throw in another 8k from Evisc.

Your eviscerate does 8-10k dmg? Are you running zerkers? Because my autos and eviscerate barely ever reach 2k and 8-10k crits.
