Utterly hereditary to the warrior class as a whole, purely from a design perspective. Yeah I know this has been discussed before, but I am extremely anxious about going into HoT with vicious monogamy towards the Discipline tree.

Yeah I know no one’s forcing me to, but just think about it. Not just from past experience but look at the Berserker, how can anyone expect to use ALL that potential synergy with a 10 second weapon swap? Even the duration of Berserking (15s) screams in the face of Fast Hands.

I dunno, but without Fast Hands being baseline, it feels like the specialization options and experimentation (which is the whole point of the system) is cut in half… or third. After playing with Fast Hands for so long, to play without it feels like I’m missing a left hand (pun intended).

I dunno. Maybe I’m overreacting, maybe I’m panicking too much, I would love for someone to show me how benign the situation is, because I can’t imagine playing without that jerking speed.

You aren’t wrong. The lack of baseline FH totally kills build variety. I can maybe see a few glass cannon Zerker – Strength – Discipline being decent but there would be so many good options if we weren’t basically forced into Discipline.

The only build that rotates through skills faster than warrior is a dd ele. Fast hands should be baseline.

I was referring more to PvP which they still cycle through quickly but the under lying point is that they can because of their kits giving them a large amount of skills to use. Like wise ele has 4 attunements that allows them to blow through skills. The point I was trying to make is that they can use a lot of skills quickly because they have a lot of skills. I should have made that clear instead of read between the lines

I should add that while warriors don’t have a multitude of skills available that ele and engi have they do have short weapon cd compared to other classes which is a big reason y fast hands is so nice to have

I have no hope with fast hands being baseline. Even if it was the other traits in it are almost to good to give up. I just hope Dead or Alive and the condi cleanse on beserk provide enough sustainability to drop defense for tactics or strength, even arms for a condi build.

But yea, fast hands is a problem. While its a tough choice between all the other trait lines, without discipline you face a HUGE dps loss because you’re stuck auto-attacking.
