So I’m still learning my Warrior and all my variations of weps and such and how to properly run in WvW. I searched and found nothing on point so here is my question:

Do I have a mechanism to pre stack might or quickly stack it at the beginning of a fight in WvW and if so using what weps/builds etc?

Many thanks in advance. I am looking for full exotic lvl 80 builds if that’s easier to specify.

you don’t, you can only stack might during the fight

You used to be able to with longbow’s combustion shot by using either healing surge or signet of fury right before throwing down the fire field, but now adrenaline’s been nerfed so that’s no longer feasible.

However even before, warrior is pretty limited with blast finishers. Basically all you can do is warhorn #5, longbow #3, plant a banner, and use banner skill #5.

So, yeah.

Prestacking isn’t something a warrior can really handle on their own, but they can very quickly accumulate might with the forceful greatsword trait combined with strength runes— especially if the enemy/enemies are against a wall or object.

You get might in combat mostly. If you take weapon combinations that can prestack (LB, horn), then you kinda nerf some of your combat potential.

In WvW I found myself doing the best when I’m melee centric bruiser. Not glassy but still dealing good damage and providing my side some good hard CC. This is of course roaming perspective.

Thats pretty much my build with the expection of amulets being ascended mix of Knight and Zerker. You base Power will be standing somewhere near 2700-2800 after you have gotten your guard and sigil stacks.

In combat you will have good amount of might. Roughly 5 (from SoR) + 6-9 (from battle sigil) + 2-3 (from Versatile Power) + 1-2 (from the Hoelbrak runes). So that is 14 to 19 stacks of might. This makes your power roughly 3100+.

If you want more might you can swap bullcharge to For Grape Justice. You lose some of your control and mobility, but it can add some nice group power.

Anyhow, it’s a build I mostly use in WvW when I do roaming in a party or solo. You don’t have the spike safety of EP or BS, but if you time your dodges well and control your enemy with the hammer and kiting with the GS you can beat a lot of other players.

To stack might you can do it with the LB F1 skill’s firefield +X Blast finisher skills (skill 3 of LB, skill 5 of warhorn, F1 of Hammer, summon a banner, etc) or use the utility that give 3 stack of might and fury.
But actually with the Adrenaline rework you can’t charge your adrenaline bars befor a fight, then you can do that conbo only when in fight.
If you want to build might stacks ask an ele to make some firefields and use all your blast finishers on it.

Couldn’t you use FGJ and SoR for prestacking Might before an engagement? That would be 8 stacks right off the bat.
