So, the weekly Guild Wars 2 Guru’s Master of the Mists tPvP Tournament is going on right now and there are several devs in the livestream chat, and they have given us a bit of a spoiler regarding the upcoming balance patch – I’ve copied and pasted the related quotes here:

Does this mean our minors in tactics will finally be changed? (please please please make Tactics the ‘burning tree’ how arms is the ‘bleeding’ tree )

400 toughness while reviving is an okay 5 point minor.
10% faster reviving is awesome for a 15 points trait.
1 stack of might on revive is just lol.

I agree i like the first 15 in tactics.
I don’t agree you can combine all 3 of those into the 5 point minor and it would still be bad without protection stacking toughness has lil effect doesn’t fit the class at all, I don’t want a minor dedicated to someone being downed that is god awful and the might on revive is a sick joke.
Unsuspecting fore should work on all CC not just stun, maybe reduce the amount of critical chance to 30+%
Put faster weap swap as a minor trait elsewhere.
Bump up numbers on Dogged March ( went in right direction imo)
Give more burst perks so building momentum is useful
1s immob on leg spec is decent, but with everyone having some sort of reduc on condis, this is laughable and petty, even in 300 in Strenght thats 30% increase for a whopping 1.3s immob wooooopedeedoo
More condition management
Better heals (Healing Surge makes you not want to waste a burst. just to use and re-burst, derp)
Numerous bug fixes
Make traits worthwhile
Give hammer more perks
Could go on and on, but warriors should be steamrollers, everyone looks at most warriors and laugh, they are too easy to lock down and /laugh at.
I’m sure the changes are conceptually finished by now if they’re intended to be implemented by the end of June, but the suggestions have me plotting anyway. You’ll have to forgive me for the common problem of bias in favor of my own build, but here goes: Dogged March: grants a stack of Defiant when targetted by cc (Defiant is added after cc), minor tactics for 5 points summons a Banner of Defense when reviving, 25 points grants Aegis in a 600 AoE, and finally retool activated abilities based on Adrenal strikes to be activated by how much is used, rather than how much is kept (example: Healing Surge would have an activated heal for pressing 6 retaining its base, but the bonus for strikes would be activated when you use adrenaline). Opinions?

Can’t really do that without breaking the everloving crap out of WvW. Currently, Dogged March with Superior Rune of Melandru and Bowl of Lemongrass Poultry Soup gives a total of -25% stun reduction, -98% on immobilize/cripple/chill and -65% on everything else.
And the Regeneration is fine as it is.
Actually, the food needs a nerf. Overpowered food is overpowered.

So true. Everyone can use the same runes and food so it should have no bearing on balance. And omg a warrior spec being op? it’ll be the first compared to like 80% of the other classes getting to use OP builds in this game for months at a time.

No unsuspecting foe with that change isn’t OP at all. Did you see what other classes are capable of? Thieves have a guranteed 100% crit chance EVERY time they open from stealth -which is almost never, right?- .
Are you happy with warrior state in competitive spvp? Don’t shoot down valid warrior suggestions about being OP suggestions. Let the devs look at that. You are just hurting the warrior community that way. I’m guessing from your posts that you play a warrior and not a thief trolling.
And so what if axe/shield becomes better and trumps other builds? I am happy about having one good build valid in competitive spvp than having none!. Engys are pigeon holed into HGH and they are way better off than us. We have to start somewhere to be good in spvp!
If we keep shooting down helpful suggestions the class will remain kitten by the time ESO comes out.
