We dont care that you are so much a fanboy that you can not even see whats going on here, the warrior class in this game ITS A JOKE, no one will ever find the holy grial that will make the class work because THERE IS NO ONE, its non existant, if you stop sharing your “SUPER EFFECTIVE GOD SUSTAINING BUILDS” maybe, MAYBE the devs will see that there are no possible builds that will make the warrior on the same line with other classes, and this is suppossing that the devs actually dont know whats going on, because right now i have severe doubts about it, i really think they are not fixing the warrior class on purpose, but maybe im wrong and i really want to be wrong.

Really? your new warrior build mains a bow… A BOW? …. so we are supposed to be friging archers?… im not saying we should not use a bow, but seriously if you are going to main a bow why not just use a ranger…. if you are going to use a rifle, why dont just main an engineer, WE ARE WARRIORS we are suppoused to be using MELEE weapons!.

Warrior has very serious problems and if you keep sharing your “AMAZING” builds to think that you are someone special or that you find the holy grial, you are only hurting the class. We need to say the truth here, and the truth is that the warrior class is still the worst class in pvp, they failed to balance things either on purpose or not, but THAkittens THE TRUTH.

ArenaNet gave warriors 2 ranged weapons and several traits to go along with them. Don’t try to pigeon-hole warriors into a melee-only role.

Warriors are better with rifles than engineers in PVE and their longbow is ok I guess (I don’t personally use it).

But I do agree warrior’s melee options need to be improved, especially with sword main-hand and off-hand, shield, and mace main-hand.

I think it’s fantastic that people are sharing their builds. It indicates that many warriors are having great fun with the class post-patch. I know many warriors, particularly those who lurk in the shadows, rely on these people to help them harness the potential of the class.

I’m sorry if you’re not enjoying the class at the moment, and I think we can all acknowledge there are still some issues. But I’d actively encourage everyone to keep theory crafting and having fun with the class.

Then rangers can’t use greatsword.

And necromancers / elementalists can only use staff.

Take your hate elseware, or bring your own ingenuity to the boards instead of fostering a destructive environment. I post my builds because it’s something I enjoy doing, many people enjoy them which keeps me positive to keep going.

Myself, and others like me, aren’t going to stop because you’re having a tissy fit and need a time out.

If you are crying this hard, and start exaggerating on how much the warrior class is a “joke”, and that there is no possible build available, then it is time for you to either re-roll into a different class or learn how to use a warrior.

u mad bro? whats wrong with bows? I use bows all the time in WvW. In WvW bow on a warrior is one of the best weapons for shooting up walls. What is wrong with bows?

The 1st ANET demonstration of the warrior class I ever saw in open beta was a charr with a bow shooting the shatter boss dragon.

Warrior is supposed to be a sort of barbarian/hunter class in this game with team support its always been that way. Just becasue you want to play your warrior melee doesnt mean thats how the class is supposed to be played. And FYI regarding rifles, rifle on a warrior is one on the strongest ranged weapons in the game if the the stongest so please go QQ back in your corner dude. No one is saying warrior is viable we are trying to adapt and get better with what we have its not there yet.

You are pretty much the epitome of what is wrong with the warrior community. One possible reason for warriors being at the bottom of the food chain is the constant whining and complaining that comes from people like yourself that may make it hard for ArenaNet to take anything that comes out of this section of the forums seriously. Has that thought ever occurred to you? Or are you just that ignorant?

I thought one of the ways to progress as a warrior or any class for that matter was to share ideas, builds, tips, strategies, etc? Especially after huge changes have been made to our class. So pretty much you want to discourage that all because you think Warriors won’t be buffed because of it? Ridiculous.

Seriously, it just sounds like you do not enjoy Warriors at all and seem unwilling at all to try out some of the new builds that people have came up with or even get better yourself. If that is your mindset then please do us a favour and reroll to another class and complain in another section of the forums rather than being negative and counter-productive over here. If you don’t like it then just get out, simple. Playing a disadvantaged class if anything forces you to rely on your own skill and decisions/strategy to try and outplay your opponent.

Or maybe your own highly overstated self-fulfilling prophecies, "i.e: this patch made warriors by far, absolutely the worst class, way below everybody else to the point where you can’t even play it in hotjoin" is causing you to play your Warrior badly in s/tPvP. If you keep a positive attitude you would probably do better.

And lastly, what is wrong with using a bow? The beauty of this game is that you have choices to play how you want to and having a ranged option certainly isn’t a bad option for a Warrior. The warrior is the "master of weapons" in GW2 so to speak and that doesn’t entail just melee. You do realize as well that even historically "Warriors" were skilled with the bow or some other kind of ranged weapon so the warrior archetype isn’t even how you imagine it to be. Just like how in the medieval times it was better to use ranged combat sometimes, it is the same case in GW2 sometimes as well.

Just like what Defektive said, Necros and Eles shouldn’t even have daggers or Guardians shouldn’t have scepters or staves and rangers should not have any melee options.

If you want to go full melee than that is your choice, but don’t invalidate other weapons based on your own interpretations of how the warrior should be. Just stop crying, calm down, take some Zoloft and you will be good.

Honestly i go on these forums, but it’s not very often i find people that even make me want to help them out. and yet i’ve been giving advice mostly to condition warriors, because that’s more my thing.

Too often I see many guys just being lazy, not talking to their homeboys, not seeking out different types of gameplay. and that’s what makes me want to not give these guys the silver platter.

If they want to p22w , they should go elsewhere.
If they’re not willing to put in any effort, why should I even help them ?

I dont know what is the problem with you, its like you like to be the worst class in pvp , its like you aim for it, you know whakittens going to fix the warrior?, sure continue playing it as it is, is not going to do anything because, the devs say “ah, it dosent matter, this guys are still playing, so why should we care?”, the thing thakittens going to do anything its to stop using the class or leave the game really, i dont see the point of playing something thakittens clearly wrong, they promissed a fix, a balance, yet the warrior is still the weakest class of all in pvp, and its like you are ok with, it, if anything its toxic, its the actitude you take, accepting it and doing nothing about it, if youare not conforable with doing something then you stop doing it, if you want someone to hear something you have to say, you say it, not put down your head and keep silent about it.

You paid for this game, it was not free, some of you are still investing in this game, so we have the right to demand a fix, they are not making us any favor, they work for us, we paid them, if we stop playing their game they dont eat, so we have the power to change things like this, keep playing its not going to do anything, we should draw a line, and say, “you know what?, im done with this, i cant stand this anymore” , like what happened to xbox one and his stupid DRM and restrictions, people say “to hell with that!, im not buying” and guess who is reverting their DRM policies and restricitons?.

Im sorry if i offended anyone, but this is the truth, if you want something to be done in this matter, then you should do something about it, and keep playing like nothing its happening its not going to fix anything.

Why are u getting so mad from a game? Yea i paid for it like u said, but I still get entertainment from playing “the weakest class”. No need to get all angry about it, maybe you should go play some playstation or something instead

As far as I’m concerned, if we weren’t trying to push the class to it’s limits by coming up with as many builds as possible and testing all their pros and cons, our arguments about what needs to change would lose all their credibility.

If you just sit there and say “Warrior is crap, change it!” It makes you sound like a spoiled child. How is anyone going to take you serious? Let alone the devs, who need constructive feedback to work with.

Whereas if you test things out [lets not have the test server argument] you might even find some of the things they intended with these new changes and find them to be an improvement. From there you can still criticise, point out the flaws and make suggestions for changes.

Maybe it is because people actually enjoy playing Warrior for what it is? That is a possible reason why we keep playing it.

Nobody is "accepting it" or "doing nothing", or "keeping silent" as you have noticed plenty of people have made plenty of suggestions of how traits and skills should be reworked. There is a difference between suggesting something and whining and complaining, the latter which you think will help warriors get the buffs that they need to be more viable in sPvP, which it will not.

Like I said before, crying and complaining won’t get you anywhere and if anything will cause ArenaNet to ignore us more because of this section’s reputation for being huge crybabies that demand they do everything that they suggest. Maybe you should take your own advice, if you are not comfortable with playing a Warrior, then play a different class.

If anything, at least ArenaNet has at least shown the propensity to make drastic changes, although some of the changes overall wasn’t very beneficial. You can’t say that they haven’t at least listened to some of the suggestions that were given.

Buying a game doesn’t mean you have to throw fits whenever something is not of your liking and act like you are the special child of the family that gets everything that must get whatever they want and have an inflated sense of entitlement.
