Guild Wars 2

Hi, having a lot of dificult with this one.
I simply cant outrun him to get the meats (even with 25% boost from discipline trait and whirling blades from gs), and when i can i just get pulled back.
He just stacks like 2~3 meats and this already means im dead.
Any tips and, possible, builds?

Slow (cripple, chill) or CC (immobilize, launch, knockdown) the dog while you avoid the guy’s CC. Eat 4 meats, then burst the dog down with bullsrush-100b. i use quickness from arms and frenzy utility for all encounters up to Liadri, to melt face properly.

I used axe/shield/longbow with stomp. Shield stun him and cripple him with your axe whenever you can and swap to your long bow as well whenever you get the chance to cc even more.

Once you get 2 or 3 meat stacks you probably have enough damage to kill him quickly.

I’m pretty sure my trait set up was something weird like 30/10/30/0/0.

I used berserkers might instead of berserkers power to help get more eviscerates in and shield mastery with missile deflection. Also rending strikes.

As far as I’ve seen all of the bosses in the gauntlet are immune to immobilize. Best bet is to use hammer to stun spam him when ever he goes for meat and bring a source of perma swiftness like the tier 1 trait Furious speed.

Mace/Shield works great on this one. Use Berserker’s Stance for condition immunity, Balanced Stance for the stability, and Frenzy when you’re ready to burst the boar down.

Keep the boar targetted and when Strugar is ready to throw the meat use Shield Bash, Skull Crack, or Pommel Bash to get a leg up on Chomper. Get 4 stacks of meat then use Frenzy to break the stun and burst them down

can any1 post a full build spec/weapon to use?
i currently have all exotic berserker armor but my weapons are kitten rares cuz the exotic ones are expensive

you can’t immobilize any enemies in gauntlet

I did this with 10/30/0/0/30 build with axe/mace and rifle (but i didn’t used it). Slot skills were Healing Signet, Defy Pain, Frenzy, For Great Justice and Signet of Rage. Full Berserker Equipment.

I just nuked the dog and knocked down both enemies with #5 mace skill, i just had to steal 1 piece of meat because the dog was already at low health at that point. When i killed the dog the norn was low health too because he took the same damage of the dog and i finished him.
If you need more time to kill the dog you can use rifle #2 and #5 to control him and gain time to steal the meat.
Try to boost yourself with power food and sharpening stone!

Weapon damage is really important so try to get your exotic weapons asap.
