Hello everyone,

I tried to do a rework on the warrior with some topics i want to change, thoses changes are toward warrior but can be applied to others classes aswell, i just don’t know them enough:
-I want to be able to use skills and weapons from elite spec BUT with malus, like 100% cd and reduced bonus effect.
-I want most of my traits to be usefull toward some builds and to remove useless ones, looking at you Powerful Synergy.
-I dont like to apply conditions on a direct damage build, for exemple i put bleed application on sword Auto-chain with traits, not baseline.
-I want to be able to generate might with “tactics” but with others weapons.
-I tried to buff weapons for direct damage so warrior arent forced to use greatsword for both damage and might generation.
- and wanted to make riffle viable without elite spec.

For most of the topic i wrote the skill as it is now and wrote the change i’d like to see (if needed) below. And all need to be tuned correctly aswell, i know i created an op warrior but i just want to show some ideas
I mainly did this topic, hoping for a dev to see it so he can take some ideas.

WEAPONS

SWORD
F1:
Flurry: Immobilize your foes with a flurry of bleeding strikes. Effect increases with adrenaline level.
KEEP

F1 berserk:
Flaming Flurry: Lash out with a flurry of strikes that destroys projectiles and shoots fireballs at foes in front of you.
MAKE THE PROJECTILES TO HIT TARGET EASIER WHEN YOU ARE FAR FROM IT.

skill 1:
Sever Artery: Slash your foe.
BUFF DIRECT DAMAGE VIA POWER, REMOVE BLEED APPLICATION WITHOUT TRAITS.
Gash: Attack your foe with a gash.
BUFF DIRECT DAMAGE VIA POWER, REMOVE BLEED APPLICATION WITHOUT TRAITS.
Hamstring: Cripple your foe with a precise slash.
BUFF CRIPPLE DURATION TO 2sec

skill 2:
Savage Leap: Lunge at your foe and strike them with your sword.
KEEP

skill 3:
Final Thrust: Strike your foe with a final powerful thrust that does extra damage against injured foes.
REDUCE ACTIVATION FROM 0.75sec TO 0.5sec.

skill 4:
Impale: Throw your sword at your foe to impale them.
KEEP
Rip:Rip your sword from your foe for extra damage.
KEEP

skill 5:
Riposte: Block the next attack. Riposte and bleed your foe if you block a melee attack.
REDUCE CD FROM 15 TO 10sec, BLOCK REDUCE FROM 2.25sec TO 1.5sec.
Adrenaline Rush: Stop blocking and gain adrenaline.
BUFF ADRENALINE FROM 3 TO 5

MACE
F1:
Skull Crack: Stun your foe with a skull crack. Effect increases with adrenaline level.
LEAP AT YOUR FOE WITH A STUNNGING SKULL CRACK. EFFECT INCREASES WITH ADRENALINE LEVEL, RANGE 250.
F1 berserk:
Skull grinder: Unleash a powerful skull strike thats dazes your target and inflicts multiple conditions.
KEEP.

skill 1:
Mace Smash: Smash your foe.
BUFF ATTACK SPEED FROM 0.5sec TO 0.33sec.
Mace Bash: Bash your foe.
BUFF ATTACK SPEED FROM 0.5sec TO 0.33sec.
Pulverize: Trash your foe, leaving them weakened.
BUFF ATTACK SPEED FROM 0.75sec TO 0.5sec.

skill 2:
Counterblow: Block the next attack. Counter with an attack if you are in melee range.
KEEP.
Adrenaline Rush: Stop blocking and gain adrenaline.
ADRENALINE GAIN FROM 3 TO 5.

skill 3:
Pommel Bash: Daze your foe with a brutal pommel bash.
KEEP.

skill 4:
Crushing Blow: Crush your oponent’s armor, leaving them vulnerable.
BUFF ACTIVATION FROM 0.75sec to 0.5sec, REDUCE CD FROM 25sec TO 20sec.

skill 5:
Tremor: Smash the ground with your mace, damaging your target and sending out a shock wave that damages and knowks down foes.
ADD 5 STACKS OF BLEED TO SHOCK WAVE, BLEED FOR 12sec.

TORCH
skill 4:
Blaze Breaker:
Berserk: Smash your torch into the ground, creating a deadly shock wave that conditions foes.
Core: COOLDOWN FROM 15sec TO 30sec, NO BURNING APPLICATION.

skill 5:
Flames of War:
Berserk: Cleanse conditions and become a mobile fire field that burns foes. When the field expires, it explodes, damaging foes and burning them again.
Core: COOLDOWN FROM 25sec TO 50sec, NO CLEANSE CONDITIONS.

Combustive Shot: Ignite target area, burning nearby foes. Effect increases with adrenaline level.

F1 berserk:
Scorched Earth: Fire a burning shot into the ground that creates a trail of flaming destruction.

skill 1:
Dual shot: Shoot a pair of arrows at your foe.
KEEP.

skill 2:
Fan od Fire: Fire a spread of three flaming arows, burning foes.
CHANGE: FIRE 5 ARROWS (same animation as rapid fire from ranger), INCREASE DIRECT DAMGE, NO BURNING WITHOUT TRAITS

skill 3:
Arcing Arrow: _ Shoot a slow, arcing arrow that explodes on impact._
CHANGE: FIRE A STRONG ARROW DEALING A LOT OF DAMAGE (like skill 3 from guardian longbow)

skill 4:
Smoldering Arrow: Shoot an arrow that explodes on impact, blinding foes.

Pin Down: Fire an arrow that bleeds and immobilizes your target.

Arcing Slice: Deliver a circular attack to foes around you, and gain fury. Deal more damage to foes with low health.

F1 berserk:
Arc Divider: Deliver a circular attack to foes around you, creating a violent shock wave that damages foes. Deal more damage to foes with low health.
REDUCE RANGE FROM 450 TO 350.

skill 1:
Greatsword Swing: Slash your foe.
KEEP.
Greatsword Slice: Slice your foe.
KEEP.
Brutal Strike: Hit your foe with a final brutal strike.

skill 2:
Hundred Blades: Repeatedly strike multiple foes. The last strike does extra damage.

Decapitate: Leap at your foe with a powerfull attack. Foes behind your target also take damage.

Chop: Chop your foe.

Double Chop: _ Chop your foe twice._

Triple Chop: Deliver three final chops to your foe.

Cyclone Axe: Spin around and attack all nearby foes.

Throw Axe: Throw an axe that cripples foes.

Dual Strike: Strike foe with both weapons. Gain fury with each hit.

Whirling Axe: Spin and attack nearby foes. You can move while spinning.
ADD REFLECT WITH AXE MASTER TRAITS.

RIFLE

Gun Flame: Fire a fast, flaming shot that explodes on the first foe it hits, interrupting foes in the area.

Fierce Shot: Fire a shot at your target, gaining bonus adrenaline against vulnerable targets.
ACTIVATION FROM 0.75sec TO 0.5sec IF WITHOUT BERSERK SPECIALISATION.

skill 2:
Aimed Shot: Fire a precise shot that cripples your foe.

skill 3:
Volley: Fire a volley of shots at your foe.
ACTIVATION FROM 2.5sec TO 2sec, REDUCE CD FROM 10sec TO 8sec IF WITHOUT BERSERK SPE.

skill 4:
Brutal Shot: Shoot your foe, then evade backward.

skill 5:
Rifle Butt: Push your foe back with your rifle butt.
RANGE FROM 130 TO 150.

HAMMER

Earthshaker: Jump to the targeted location and slam your hammer down, damaging and stunning foes.

F1 berserk:
Rupturing Smash: Jump to the targeted location abd slam your hammer down, creating a deadly chain of earthen shock waves that immobilize foes.
JUMP TO TARGETED LOCATION DEALING DAMAGE AND IMMOBILIZES NEARBY FOES WITHOUT EARTHSHAKER ANIMATION BUT A JUMP WITH SKILL 5 ANIMATION.

Hammer Swing: Bash your foe.

skill 2:

HEALING SKILLS
Mending: Heal yourself and remove conditions.
KEEP.
To the limit: Heal yourself and regain all adrenaline. Nearby allies gain endurance.
KEEP.
Healing signet: Passive regenerate health, Active Heal yourself and grant resistance.
KEEP.
Defiant stance: Heal yourself. Absorb all incoming strikes for a period of time.
NOW BREAKSTUN ON USE.

UTILITY SKILLS
Endure pain: keep
Balanced stance: keep
Berserker stance: keep
Frenzy: lower cd, 50sec to 45sec

Signet of might: unblockable 6sec to 7sec
Signet of fury: keep
Signet of stamina: lower cd 45sec to 40sec
Dolyak signet: keep

Shake it off: Remove 2 conditions instead of 1.
For great justice: Increase fury from 8sec to 10sec.
On my mark: Lower cd 30sec to 25sec, add cripple for 6sec
Fear me: Lower cd 60sec to 45sec.

Kick: Increase damage
Bolas: Increase damage
Bull’s charge: KEEP
Stomp: Range 450 to 600

ELITE SKILLS
Battle standard: keep
Rampage: Now an elite shout, give 10sec x5 might and 5sec celerity to allies cd40sec (character ROARS when using the skill), the skill cant be tuned so i made another one.
Signet of Rage: Same effect but pulse, 5sec fury every 5sec pulse 5 times etc….

BERSERKER SKILLS

WITHOUT ELITE SPEC
Blood reckoning: increase cd from 20sec to 40sec
Outrage: 20sec cd, no adrenaline bonus.
Sundering leap: 40sec cd, no adrenaline bonus.
Wild blow: 25sec cd, x2bleed, no adrenaline bonus.
Shattering blow: 40sec, dont remove blind and weakness.
Headbutt: increase cd from 20sec to 40sec

WITH ELITE SPEC
Blood reckoning: reduce cd from 20sec to 15sec
Outrage: keep
Sundering leap: reduce cd from 25sec to 20sec
Wild blow: reduce cd from 30sec to 20sec
Shattering blow: keep
Headbutt: keep

TRAITS

FORCE
Reckless Doge: Damage foes at the end of a dodge roll.
KEEP
Building Momentum: Burst skill restore endurance on hit.
KEEP
Stick and move: Get a damage bonus when endurance is not full.
KEEP

I.1:Axe Master: Critical axe hits gain extra adrenaline. Gain ferocity for each axe you are wielding. Reduce recharge on axe skills.
I.2:Signet Mastery: Signets grant a stacking precision buff on use and recharge faster. Cast signet of might whenever you strike a foe below health treshold.
I.3:Powerfull Hammer: Gain x2 might for 10sec when you hit a stunned target with a hammer.

II.1:Forcefull Greatsword: Greatsword and spear deal more damage and recharge faster. REMOVE MIGH ON CRIT
II.2:Crack Shot: Base rifle and harpoon gun shots gain bonus adrenaline. Reduces recharge on rifle and harpoon gun skills.
II.3:Unsuspecting Foe: Gain 4sec of fury when hitting a stunned foe with a hammer.

III.1:Berserker’s power: Gain a damage bosst when you use a burst skill. Boost power increases based on how much adrenaline you have build.
CHANGE STAGE1 FROM 10% TO 5%, STAGE 2 FROM 15% TO 10%, STAGE 3 FROM 20% TO 20%
III.2:Burst Precision: Burst skill have an increased critical chance.
III.3:Merciless Hammer: Hammer damage is increased when attacking a foe that is dazed, knocked downed, launched, or stunned. Reduces recharge on hammer skills.

ARMS
Precise strikes: Chance to cause bleeding on critical hits.
Deadly aura: Give allies 150 condition damage
Bloodlust: Increases damage to bleeding foes, and bleeds that you apply last longer(+33%).

I.1:Blade Master: Sword skills have an increased critical-hit chance against bleeding foes. Reduce recharge on sword skills.
I.2:Sundering Mace: Mace skills cause vulnerability to foes that are dazed, knocked down, launched, or stunned. Reduces recharge on mace skills.
I.3:Burning arrows: Dual shot and Fan od Fire causes burning, burning: 1sec.

II.1:Bleeding sword:Add 8sec bleed on sword’s auto-attack
II.2:Body Blow: Stuns, dazes, knockbacks, pulls, pushes, and launches inflict bleeding and weakness, weakness 3sec, bleeding 6sec.
II.3:Fire creator: Create a fire shield when you equip a longbow in combat, burst combo create fire shield.

III.1:Furious: Critical hits grant bonus adrenaline and gain a stacking condition damage effect.
III.2:Distracting Strikes: Cause confusion when you interrupt a foe’s skill.
III.3:Longbow Master: Reduce longbow’s cd 20%

TACTICS
Reviver’s might: Grant might to nearby allies when you successfully revive someone.
Enpower allies: Increase power for nearby allies.
Inspiring presence: Might applied by you also grants healing power.

I.1.Shake it off: Use “Shake if off” automatically when you have a number of conditions on you.
CHANGE TRIGGER : 2 CONDITIONS
I.2.Banners Master: Reduces banner’s cd by 20%
I.3.Quick breathing: Reduces recharge on warhorn skills. Warhorn skills remove conditions from all affected allies.

II.1.Vigorous shouts: Shouts heal allies and grant adrenaline. Shouts recharge faster.
II.2.Inspiring banners: Banners also grant regenration to allies.
3sec REGENRATION TO 4sec.
II.3.Empowered: Increases damage for every boon on you.

III.1.Heal Master: Using a heal skill gives protection for 4sec and x5 might for 10sec to allies
III.2.
III.3.Phalanx: CHANGE :Give might to allies on critical hit, 8sec might.

DEFENSE
Armored skin: Gain 100 toughness while you health is above the treshold, and gain power based on your thoughness 8%
Adrenal health: Gain health based on adrenaline spent. 1stack, 1stack, 3stack per adrenaline.
Spiked armor: Gain retaliation when you block or are struck by a critical hit. Retaliation gives you bonus toughness.+150.

I.1.Shield master: Reflect missiles whenever you are blocking. Gain might when you block an attack. Shield skills recharge faster.
I.2.Dogged march: Incoming movement-impeding conditions have their durations reduced. Gain regenration when you are affected by one of these conditions.
I.3.Furious break: Give fury for 8sec after stunbreak.

II.1.Endure pain: Take no damage from attacks. You are still suscpetible to conditions and control effects.
II.2.Physical training: Physical skills now stunbreak and deal x2 damage.
II.3.Rousing resilience: Gain toughness and health when you break out of a stun.

III.1.Balanced stance: Activates balanced stance when you are dazed, knocked down, launched, pushed back, pulled or stunned. Increase stance duration and gain vigor when using a stance.
III.2.Cleansing ire: Remove 1,1,2 conditions depending on adrenaline level.
III.3.Clean Break: Remove 2 conditions on stunbreak

DISCIPLINE
Versatile rage: Gain adrenaline on weapon swap.
Fast hands: Weapon-swapping reacharges faster.
Versatile power: Gain might on weapon swap. Burst skills recharge 15% faster.

I.1.
I.2.Warrior’s sprint: Run faster while wielding melee weapons. Movement skills break immobilization when used.
I.3.

II.1.Physical intelligence: Using a physical skill reduce burst skill cd 100%
II.2.Vengeful return: Vengeance has an increased chance to rally and gain more heatlh and endurance when you rally.
II.3.Brawler’s recovery: Remove 1 condition whe nyou swamp weapons.

III.1.Dual wielding: Attack speed is increased when wielding a sword, axe or mace in your off hand. 15% TO 20%
III.2.Heightened focus: Gain quickness when you strike a foe that is below the health treshold.
III.3.Burst mastery: Burst skills deal more damage and restore a portion of the adrenaline spent on use.

BERSERKER
Berserk: Gain adrenaline, an attack speed boost, and access to primal burst skills.
Always angry: Gain increased damage and condition damage when you enter or exit berserk mode.
7% to 10%.
Fatal frenzy: Gains boons when activating berserk mode.

I.1.Smash brawler: Reduces recharge on primal burst skills and berserk mode.
I.2.Last blaze: When you use a rage skill, set nearby foes on fire.
FROM 1x 4sec TO 2x 4sec
I.3.Savage instinct: Activating berserk mode removes immobilize cripple and chill.

II.1.Blood reaction: A perventage of precision is given as a bonus to ferocity. This bonus is doubled in berserk mode.
7% to 5%, 14% to 15%
II.2.Heat the soul: Reduces recharge on torch skills. Gain condition damage while wielding a torch.
II.3.Dead or alive: Taking fatal damage while in berserk mode will heal you.
5220 to 5000.

III.1.Bloody roar: Taunt ennemies when you activate berserk mode. Deal increased damage while using berserk.
III.2.King of fires: Increase the duration of burning you apply. Gain fire aura when you critically hit an ennemy. Berserker skills detonate fire aura, damaging and burning nearby foes.
INCREASE BURNING DURATION 3sec TO 4sec.
III.3.Eternal champion: Gain stability while in berserk mode. Gain stability and might when you break out of stun.

A lot people have given their perspective on warrior.
Keep it up. Hopefully it generates a good pool of idea’s.
Ultimately this is something that is hampering warrior as a profession and has been the constructive feedback for quite some time. Namely too many traits are in awkward locations and nothing can be optimised. Their traits don’t syngerize well with their skills. They suffer far too many movement bugs. There skills are overly selfish without enough team play options. Too many weapons are tied to a trait to make maximum use of them.
