Suggestion about warriors
So give us some specifics and what you think should be done to balance this class you think is strong.
We’d love some constructive feedback that seem reasonable and won’t be vulnerable to extreme amounts of flak ranging from “warrior is fine” to “warrior needs to get nerfed on everything” to personal attacks.

Sounds like a warrior QQ thread to me. Nothing constructive. You didn’t even post a suggestion, by the way. Why not title the thread more accurately, so I could have avoided it altogether?

Nope, you’re pretty much just whining. And saying necromancers are better than all other classes is just hilarious.
Suggestion about warriors (as the title says) is for the OP to learn to play a better thief.
Regarding to why warrior has highest health + armor is that we have little other survival mechanism. Now picture if you are a thief with such high health + armor but without stealth, how long would you last?
If you think warrior is hard to kill, try a bunker Guardian or bunker engineer or even bunker elementalist. When build and played right, they are simply unkillable. Actually a thief is also unkillable if played right.
If I had a dollar for the amount of Warrior QQ threads that offer no plausible or positive/constructive suggestions.
And really you mention a thief? Who can disengage and reset any fight they can’t win at will? And can pretty much play defensively when they get low by going into stealth till they get full HP then rinse and repeat till the target is dead?
Also DPS Meditation Guardians say hi.
D/P Thief should always win or get draw against warrior with there insane stealth/blind spam.
But bad player will always lose dont mater what class he play

Thier survival mechanic is just to have high armor and HP. Its pretty simple don’t try to understand it.
Emagine a thief with no steath, a gurdian with no protection or virtues, a necro with no DS, a ranger with no pets, and Mesmer with no clones, steath etc.
You get a warrior that just has its body + its various stances.

Necromancer and warriors require the least skill to play decently, but fall behind when people learn how to actually use the other classes, and then require more skill to get back up onto the same level. Yes, it is the most newbie-friendly class, but that’s not a bad thing. They suck again once everyone stops being newbies without serious investment in learning how to play them.

I repeat for the third time: Warrior is my second character, i got 8 kittening characters but, when i’m frustrated cause of 3 loses in a row or something like that i just log in my hambow or axe/shield and play totally relaxed, cause there nothing to care too much.
I’m not whining because i can’t kill warriors, with thief and ranger (my other 2 “mains”) it’s pretty easy most of the times. I just hate op characters, so i play warrior less day by day.
Speaking about survivability….we got a 5 sec no direct damage skill, another one with trait, 5 seconds with shield, one attack with mace and one with sword. We can cleanse condition as raining and got a skill which make us immune to them for 10 s. You said thief could stealth and refill, losing one condition every 3 seconds….since we can’t hold or cap a point while in stealth it’s pretty meh compared to warrior.
Fact is, warrior are not that unbelievably op but they are just brainless. If D/P thief are low risk high reward warrior are no risk at all with high reward.
A full zerker warrior will always survive much better then majority of classes with zerker spec.
About the title, it was and invite for all warriors bored about their class to expose some idea (and wanted to troll :p)
-I would personally nerf berserker stance firstly. It’s stupid to make a skill so usefull to be a must in every kind of build.
-In second place i’d reduce hammer damage. It already chain stun, damage shouldn’t be so high.
-A good thing would be to change sword bleeding mechanics also.
Insted of long weak bleedings I’d insert short bleedings with an higher damage.
-Regen is still too high. Thre is no risk to be interrupt during regen, and if u have to use the healing you will probably die aswell, since it cures very little. No risk-high reward still.

You are bias against a warrior and rooting for the thief. I don’t care if you play warrior as a 2nd. Hack I play a elementalist, but I enjoy a warrior more, so I am going to root for the warrior more. So bias is bias.
Your suggestion basically nerfs warrior to the ground. So I am not even going to take these seriously. It’s still a rant. I would suggest nerf thief’s stealth, or allow other class to break stealth on damage (this is suggested many times on the forum) but that would nerf thief to the ground, and I bet you wouldn’t like it or take it seriously.

I haven’t played thief for a while to be honest, i’m currently playing ranger and warrior more.
I’m ok that every class COULD (not must) have a way to semi-counter thief stealth. Ranger got a shout to directly prevent stealth, warrior got aoe stun, which have a chance to not let him run away/ress people.
Yeah, i want to nerf today warrior and buff other kind of builds, like conditioner for example.
Hammer, in my opinion, should be a bunker weapon, not a zerker one, so nerf their damage and give, dunno, weakness in trade.
Berserker stance, again, is a nonsense skill, too usefull to trade it with whatever on warrior skill list, that’s not fair. I’d remove the adrenaline gain or reduce the stance duration.
I don’t want to nerf it to the ground. I repeat again: i love my warrior, i paid 800 gems to obtain phalanx armor just because of him. I’d love to see a bit more difficulty to achieve the best from this class.
So your suggestions are:
1. Nerf hammer damage and give more weakness.
2. Remove Berserker Stance adrenaline gain or reduce duration.
There. Now we have something to discuss. You don’t want people to -perceive- your post as -whining- now, do you?

Statements like “Warrior is officially the kitten class by now, no need to care too much about what’s going on around me, i just need to push buttons when cd goes down.”
