So warriors have a pretty safe spot right now in pve with the massive amount of offensive support they bring (PS and banners). I also feel PS is a balanced build that does low personal damage for large team dps gains but, I would like to see a true dps warrior spec that would be viable for raid, fractal and so on. So I have a couple of simple changes that I think would help

Frist let’s look at the weapons. So hammer, mace, and shield are cc weapons so they are not good candidates for a dps spec. Sword and LB are hybrid condi/direct damage so a buff to them would work which I’ll get to latter. All this leaves us with GS, rifle and axe. Rifle is range so it should never be top dps. GS already has PS so it has a place to fill already so let’s go with axe

The buff to off hand axe is nice but not enough to make it worth while to take dps axe over PS support. A couple of simple changes could fix this.

1. Move axe mastery to master tier to compete with Forceful GS. This would give axe a much need dps increase over gs and dual axe is a 20% gain in crit damage. Moving to this tier also allows the warrior to keep bezerkers power.

2. Put dual wielding and burst mastery in the same trait line on different tiers. This might be a little hard than just a swap and go as some balance my be needed but a 3 ways swap might work with dual wielding replacing banner trait, banners replacing burning arrows and bring arrows ( with a buff) could replace dual wielding. I think the traits fit the lines best that way

These 2 changes would give axe/axe a huge dps increase while also taking away the might giving support of PS to keep it balanced.

Getting back to sword and LB. Sword could be as simple as increasing bleed duration to give it extra sustained damage after an intro period or increase the stacks inflicted per attack. For LB you could put burning arrow base line but I don’t think it would help enough to make anything other that LB 2 and burst really worth while. Adding bleed to LB auto and moving burning arrow to a usable spot for condi war might work.

There are many options for increasing warrior dps but I feel these would be pretty easy changes to make that wouldn’t require too much balancing.
