Superior Runes of Earth
I’d say go for Soldier’s Runes so you don’t have to use Mending over Healing Surge. Earth is not bad, but something that Warriors are lacking are good Condition Removals. You can be the tankiest Warrior in the whole game but if you get bombarded by a ton of conditions, you’re pretty much over.

I don’t think there are any runes of Geomancy, just Sigils.
As for Runes of Earth, I think they’d only really be good if you played with someone giving you the Protection boon. Otherwise the 25% chance to gain Protection for 4 seconds (cooldown every 30 seconds) just seems lackluster.

Woops wasn’t reading, sorry about that. For “tank Warrior” I’d go with either Forge or Earth, which ever one is available.

I run runes of Soldier with 3 shouts and healing surge.
Condi theives used to be my achillies heel yet since soldier runes i am yet to be find one that does me over on a 1v1.
4 conditions gone every 14 secs, stupid squishy theif – they dont even last a full 100B :/
hmmm I didn’t even think about the forge, that one looks pretty nice. For me though, I am going mostly DPS warrior (I have 47% crit chance and 76% crit dmg) but I am looking to get around maybe 1400-1500 toughness so I am not all too squishy.
I guess I have three choices, if I want more condition removal I would pick the soldier runes, and if I want more tankiness (but lack of condition removal, in that case I would have to use mending ;/) I would pick either the forge runes or the earth ones.

Soldier runes is your best friend in PVP.
Go for PVT gear, soldiers runes, knight/zerker/valkyries jewels. Healing shouts. That’s a great combinaison
Having protection a few seconds is nothing compared to removing conditions fast.
