Would require help on theorycrafting a sword/axe build for WvW.

Here is what I was thinking: Sigil of strength and runes of strength

10 in Strength for berserker’s power

25 in arms Deep strike and blademaster

10 in tactics for Empowered

20 in Discipline for Mobile strike and Heightened focus

5 to go somewhere

Goal is to deal best AOE damage with axe 5 while keeping might stacked through the roof helping our aoe bleeds applied.

This is just an idea, this build needs help.

Hi hi fellow bleed warrior!
This is what I use:
Weapons: sword/axe (ice sigil/ force sigil) and Longbow (nullification sigil)
20 in strength ( berkserker’s power and dual wielding)
30 in Arms ( 33% vuln chance, 50% longer bleeds, crits gain more adrenaline)
15 in Discipline. (faster running/crit/sigils recharge faster (change as needed) and mobile strikes.

Utilities+ healing: Healing seed (if sylvari if not Healing Surge. I like the regen, sue me), Signet of Stamina, Bull’s Rush, Endure pain, Signet of Rage.

Full soldier gear, rabid, carrion or something with condition damage for accessories and rings (exclude neck) and runes of the undead. (soldier gear + runes of the undead = 1/5 of your toughness becoming condi damage. This means you can deal damage and take some hits which is kinda nice).

OMG this looks like a 100b build! Yeah it kinda is and you can trade it out if you’d like.
It works decent in WvW and great elsewhere

Use longbow f1 and then go whirling axe in it and watch everything bleed and burn to death. ’tis awesome.

The major problem for your build is you say you want to bleed. That’s all fine and good but most classes will just clear bleeds off themselves once every 10 seconds (guardian) or continue to wipe them with ease (almost everyone else). Really you’d only hurt warriors with pure bleeds. That’s why we need cover conditions. Burning and vuln solve this problem. You’ll still have problems with mass wipes but traits/abilities that clean 1 ability per 10 seconds will usually be unable to get all your conditions off fast enough. Therefore stick the extra 5 in arms so you can have deep strikes 33% vuln and blademaster or furious. I like furious but that’s just me.

Sigil of strength is good. I like ice because it rather royally messes with people’s cooldowns. Plus it’s another cover condi.

Don’t use runes of strength. They’re bugged. Find another. From wiki:
“Bug:
The 6th bonus from the superior rune does not apply.”

Your traits: (-5 for that cover 33% vuln)
Strength: looks good. No real complaints.
Arms: Good plus what I’ve covered.
Defense: None here, not a huge worry.
Tactics: This can be hit or miss truth be told. If you manage to get lots of different boons (not stacks) on you this can be ok. This makes Signet of Rage give you 6% more damage for 30 seconds. Your sigil will give you 2% more damage for 10 sec and signet of rage and your sigil combined give you 6% more damage for about 30 sec. If you had runes of lyssa, which is best we can do solo for boons, you’d get around 16-18% more damage for 5 seconds. So this one’s decent, I went for 10 more in strength for a flat 5% more damage forever. If you’re just by yourself and using signet of rage the difference is 1% more damage for 30 sec and then 6% less damage for 30 sec (or 4% if you manage a might stack the entire time).
Discipline: Love mobile strikes. Heightened focus is backwards for both our builds. It looks good but think about it. Your best bleed stacking, which you’ll need to do rather fast, comes from the sword f1. Sword f1 requires adrenaline. Heightened focus requires you to hold adrenaline. This would be fine to take in PvE where getting adrenaline back is easy or if you used signet of fury but in WvW hitting can sometimes be hard so adrenaline can be a bit hard to get. You’re call on this one however.

(Edit: lol, how does grammer and speeling. I’ll probably find more errors as a reread.)

Axe 5 is surprisingly good, not the best for quickly stacking bleeds.
Lots of crits from it after all. probably not better than sword but it can work.

Axe5 (thru the magic of combofields) allows you to do a fire whirl with longbow to start it (via combushot). the proc bleeds are just icing compared to the movable aoe burn.
