Just wondering. I’m mainly PVE and leveling a new warrior. Not sure why but dual sword looks like it’d be fun. The Torment might not be that great but some mobs do try to flee. I was thinking more along the lines of the block from Riposte might be helpful.

It’s not really but if you like sword you can always go Axe/Sword & GS

Axe/Sword could be interesting.

S/S is pretty decent. It’s not the strongest dps weapon if your only aim is to burn enemies down quickly but it very good for bleed stacking while still hitting a good. I’ve enjoyed it quite a bit. It can be traited to reflect projectiles when blocking and give perm fury with just the auto attack. Good mobility to for kiting.

Mainhand sword isn’t viable for PvE purposes, however offhand sword is superior to shield in situations such as fighting lupicus. If your party is maxed on vuln stacking it is ok to run offhand sword for impale/rip combo which can pull some pretty hefty numbers.

It is ok to level with, but honestly use a Bow it is better… learning to kite can be real helpful especially if your gear falls behind your level, which can occur from time to time. Kiting was easy for me as I came from the Ranger class, seemed second nature. I can take Champions now solo without taking much damage at all.

As far as kiting..I’m pretty good at it. I mained a hunter in WoW for 4 years.

Sword/Sword isn’t that good but it’s not like, downright terrible or anything. You can get away with it in most PvE content but you won’t do as well as you would with an axe or greatsword. You won’t die either though and if you’re running with a casual group that isn’t minmaxing DPS it won’t make a huge difference.

Just don’t join any speedrun, zerker only, etc. dungeon parties and you’ll be fine.
