Telegraph Skills
War is designed to be telgraph. It has stances, blocks, mobility, very good condi cleans, great susistain and good damage, both condition and poweer, to compensate it.
But you are right. Lot of other classes’s skills should have been designed telegraphed, but surely not blink and blocks, since they need to be instant to be any usefull.

I think many of the problems are that, yes, blinks, and shadowsteps, and teleports, should neot be telegraphed, but a warrior just does not have any of those things. So what ends up happening is that we feel too telegraphed. Stances should not be telegraphed, and for the most part only Defiant stance is, (which is stupid IMO) but for the most part a warrior gets by with their telegraphed skills just fine. its just some very over telegraphed skills that give the warrior a bad image in this area.
Warrior is the best designed class in gw2 for this reason, if only the others had followed suit.

Sorry that came out wrong, i mean we supposed to see if the enemy is blocking i’m not sure if its just me or my screen is full of skill animations effects that is hard to know what your opponents are doing or casting. Whoever design the warrior class is brilliant that guy supposed to design the whole classes in gw2. And aren’t we an E-SPORT game most of my friend playing Dota 2 and LoL doesnt even follow the pvp in gw2 they can’t tell whats going on in my screen.
You can also turn the highly telegraphed skill to an advantage. You can cast it, stow and bait dodges easily. Or use the fact that if you use rush (gs5) to a target you almost surely know they dodge it, you can either cancel it early and swap to other hand and shield bash right at the end of there dodge etc. THis is what i love about warrior, being so predictable then you can juke ppl with it.
Other classes have telegraphs too, , with the exception of maybe thief, you just have to know what to look for.
Being Said its not the issue of war skills being easy to see its that some of them are slow, and clunky.
warrior and we’re the best class” Eugene
It’s like what ashkew said, you use our telegraphed skills to your advantage and bait out dodges and skills/utilities to your advantage.
And after awhile when you start learning the other professions, you have an idea on their “rotations” and know what to expect they’re going to do. Imo this is what makes warriors fun to play, you can improvise how the fights go, he only profession that’s better with doing that is thief
Yes i know we can use our telegraph skill in our advantage. But isn’t fun if we can see and act base on the enemies actions. I don’t know maybe i still have a hangover of Blade and Soul combat that most of the actions of my opponent are telegraph and you can read it base on the animation. Or maybe its just hard to see some animations in guild wars 2 because of too many skill effects in the screen.
