The 'New' Rifle Warrior
How is this new?
Your basicly a less damage glass cannon who stands back and shoots people. :/
It would be better to mostly go all valkyrie gear and stack health and use banner for 15% critical damage.
Overall I really don’t see what you were trying to go for:/
I will be a Devil’s Advocate and say:
You need to drop the idea of survivability, your build will just make you last at most 1 or 2 seconds longer, toughness really doesn’t help and removing an extra condition every once in a while won’t help either.
Go full berserkers, get 10 in vitality and get the berserker banner. Get the power crystal/go full berserkers and go all sniper-mode.
You will be a lot more successful in WvWvW/PvE.

You should also get longbow as a secondary, no point in trying to run if your caught. Sweet Revenge is also useless since you will probably die before vengeance even comes up.

^^^ this, 100% your only defense as glass cannon is to not be hit, another 100 or so toughness vitality isnt gonna do you a lick of good. In your weapon swap slots you have the option of sword/warhorn, to clear snares and jump away, sword/shield to block incoming damage and leap away, or greatsword to bomb killzones and #5 away.
trolling around in tank gear with a rifle is pointless, you add very little pressure to a fight and youd be much better off just farming badges with longbow since its better for aoe tagging.
The new Discipline 30 point Trait now combine burst CD and cost reduction by 20% -before sold separately. So, though to do a Rifle/Sword+Shield or WH build around that that is not glass for PvE and WvW:
Replace rifle with spatula (spatula >rifle> fork)
No offense but your build seems confused with trying to be a damage dealer (which it isn’t at all) while having a lot of condition mitigators which would only be very useful if you are a front line tank (which you couldn’t possibly be because you have low armor and low CC and 1 escape skill with no Mobile Strikes).
You try to tackle and balance issues of conditions, survivability and damage and what you have ended up with is a confused rifle warrior that has no damage, unneeded condition mitigation, bleed with no condition damage and with more survivability than a normal glass cannon build but not enough to be going into the frontlines. Not really sure what you hope to accomplish with your build because it is all over the place, do you plan to go melee a lot with your condition removals?
If you advertise your build as a Rifle warrior, you need damage to make up for the rifle’s inherent weaker damaged from being a ranged weapon. You probably couldn’t crit a guardian for more than 500 autoattacks or 2.5K killshots without protection on. Your choice of traits are pretty confusing as well.
Berserker’s Power is miles better than Restorative Strength for a Rifle warrior, not sure why you chose deep cuts and the sigil of earth when you are not a condition build as the rifle bleed lasts 6 seconds already. You have a sword trait and a rifle trait that are both in one trait line. Burst Mastery is nice but for a rifle warrior I think it is unnecessary because you can build adrenaline fast with healing surge and signet of fury and the 8 second cooldown rather than 10 seconds doesn’t make a huge difference.
For PvE, unless you are a pure shout/banner build (even then I’d rather have a guardian) you don’t really bring much to the table in terms of support and utility. People bring warriors for damage in PvE, and if they can’t do that, or at the very least provide utility they are pretty much useless. Your build provides neither.

This is a build that I more or less use if I feel like going rifle warrior in WvW and sniping people.
It has high power and high crit damage. It seems like I have low crit chance but with Furious Reaction, FGJ and SoR I have perma fury, so I always have 66% crit chance (minus heightened focus). Between the trait Furious, Healing surge, Signet of Fury and weapon swapping I can always keep a high adrenaline bar, meaning my Heightened Focus grants me an additional 9% crit chance leaving it at 75%. And if you haven’t used signet of fury it gives me 9% extra crit chance so I have 84% crit chance. Critical burst gives my burst 10% extra crit chance so my Killshot has a 94% crit chance.
People often make the mistake of overstacking crit chance in their gear without realizing that by having a perma uptime on fury, grabbing traits, sigils and skills that increase crit chance, you crit kitten near all the time. And in overstacking crit chance, people often have less power than they should.
The effective power on this build seems low for a glass cannon rifle type build but it is artificially low. FGJ gives you extra might and I placed a bloodlust sigil in the rifle rather than the damage sigil. Since you will be doing most of the killing on the rifle, you can build stacks really fast and just having 10-15 stacks on it outperforms the damage sigil. Having 25 stacks gives you 500 more effective power. Another reason it is artificially low is that because the base crit chance is low because it does not take into account Signet of Fury and perma fury uptime. Also in the 30 discipline trait I would get Destruction of the Empowered. Since most players in WvW you encounter will have at least 2-3 boons on them, that is a 6-9% damage boost. You pretty much as have at least 6-10 stacks of might on you at all times. All in all you do glass cannon type damage.
Also you have noticed I have some toughness and vitality in my build. It is enough to allow you to at least stand in AoE circles and pump out volley and a few autoattacks without getting completely blasted. Going full glass with 916 toughness is dumb because you end up doing less damage because you can’t take a hit and with this build there really isn’t a huge difference in damage. I sacrificed just a little bit of crit damage, mostly precision and about 150 power. I feel like at 2,700 armor I can take a lot of hits for being a ranged rifle warrior while consistently pumping damage with relatively little DPS loss, without having to always pop in and pop out every 2 seconds.
Shake it Off and your warhorn skills should be enough condition removal, if not you can choose mending as your healing skill.

Rifle warrior only need 1 thing.
full zerker gear. all over. including zerker jewels.
My warrior have almost 4 k attack power. with no might buffs.
Dloading 5 k files to game atm.. so cant see my exact stats.
But. 20 k hp. 3.9 k attack power. 78 % crit chance. (98 % with fury signet active).
89 % crit dmg.
using bull charge to knock someone down.. and then empty my volley on them.
If its a staff elemental. they are more or less dead instant.
My volley usualy do around 8 – 13 k dmg. heavy armor – light armor.
I have seen 3k+ crits on my autoattack against light armor target in wvw.
And i usualy crit 1 k – 1.5k against heavy armor tank guardians.
I like my “boom stick”.

I use my Rifle build diferently, I use a full Rampager set instead and play around very high critical chance (95% with fury), some power and a good chunk of condition damage. While it doesn’t offer the insane burst wich a Berserker Killshot and Volley can do, it gives a better option for dealing sustained damage. With 100% Bleed duration and a signet of Earth, those bleeds are stacking very quickly adding invaluable damage bonus to your auto attack wich you will spam a lot if you play mostly Rifle.
I also use distracting strike to give a little extra to Rifle But, Shield Bash and Kick (wich is an incredible utility) and with Sword/Shield as secondary weapon I get some dangerous attacking tools if people should get to close of me, this on par with a decent escape option and of course the mighty shield block!
Overall it works pretty well for sPvp, and WvW in small operations, but to much condition cleanse in zergs can kill its effectiveness relatively easely.
The new rifle build is Longbow. :p
