This build can murder yours "Havoc Build"
Imagine how much better it would be if you took that random point from Arms and put it in defense for Armored Attack. You should have thought that through.
I need it for bleeds, condi damage and more critical chance
I thought about doing that for an additional 160 power or putting it back into the final trait line for +3% damage on target per boon. (I do that occasionally)

Build looks good, lacks mobility but would be great in a havoc group.

I get what you are trying to do. But you allready have alot of burning. Use it! It goes way more in line with condi/direct damage with those weapons. For confusion you want to take Mace/mace and sword shield or something to maximize the interrupts.
If your enemy has half a brain he’ll just make distance while the confusion is up since you have zero mobility and all you invested(4 trait points, full rune set) into confusion is in vain.
Go with the burning. That’s something you have full control over. I propose something like this:

Mace/Mace would only be using skills F1, 3 & 5 out of all of those only skills F1 and 5 would be good. F1 for a long duration stun and 5 for a long reach. The maces reach is far to small on nearly all accounts excluding skill 5. The hammer offers more reach with the same amount of interruptions along with mobility control on the skill 3 and aoe F1 including superior interrupts on 4 and 5. This weapon also mixes with the longbow to stack might and total control by extending your hands out and pulling them in.
Everything blends together – so use your hands like you are Grenth and cover those places where the enemies will run to with aoe, leaps or hammer 3.

But the cooldowns are better on the mace, and long bow offers no interrupt at all. What I mean is you want to run every stun you can have with confusion, on both weapons. Like hammer AND mace/mace or sword shield or any combination of the three. Longbow doesn’t fit in a confusion build. It does fit in a burn/power build though.
I am going to have to say Hammer is much better than Mace. Hammer F1 is 100 times easier to hit than Mace. That alone is enough reason as CI is the only source of condi cleanse. Hammer 4 is AOE, much easier to hit. Hammer 2 does weakness, hammer 3 is an AOE cripple, this build lacks mobility, any chance of keeping the enemy closer is very important.
With that said, I don’t think this build would be that great especially for roaming. Your standard condition build still give you mobility. Even if you don’t care for mobility, celestial AXE bow, would still be more powerful in general since the sudden burst from AXE catch a lot of people by surprise.

That trait, with that build. will generate like 1 or 2 stacks of bleed on average. Thats basically nothing and not worth it. Second 50 precision is 2.2% crit chance. Also marginal.
1 stack of bleed + 2% crit chance <<<<<<<<<<<, 160 power and 50 Toughness.
Its not even close.

Yeah you are right… either that or 1 more into discipline for DoTE.
As for the other comments yes this build lacks mobility but that is a matter of personal preference. You use “leg specialist” on hammer 3 and close the gap. You must keep in mind that the amount of people that will get away are fewer than you think. This build is made for roaming and fighting various builds from condi to power.
As far as stats and killing ability goes~
This build is polished very well (depending on weapon style & preference)
This build is not meant to run around
I will call it the “Havoc” build and I would like to give my thanks to~
vincecontix.1264 for giving me an idea for a name even if unintended as well as
hybrid.5027 for waking me up a little
keep building in reverse guys
Havoc builds are meant to be able to spike + get away, otherwords mobility. Most move in groups too, the fact you got little escape, clunky weapons for WvW you won’t do well. Longbow is awful in WvW because no one fights in your fire fields, they’ll kite you for days. Enjoy dumping fire fields just to cleanse conditions and dumping your high damage LB3 blast finisher on nothing.
Are you in Tier1 servers? If not then it’ll explain why you think your build is a good idea.

I only used it as a name that sounds nice rather than as some reference that I was unfamiliar with….
as for server I am on RoS and I spend most of my time roaming. I know you guys love to run away but that is just something that I don’t do. I stay there and respect the fight until the end in which I for the most part win. Not everything is about running away.
I don’t play with guilds but I will occasionally play in a small group and slay similar people.
I just want a name for a build that is intent on killing.
You say I that I won’t do well and that they will kite me for days?
You say that these weapons are clunky
Your statements can be said in a few words while my list of pros would drastically out number yours.
I will keep my statement simple. “I challenge you to a duel >:D”

Nice build, I ran Hambow in WvW for the longest time. It seriously lacks mobility (especially out of combat) but if you are running with a tight group it will work well.
Personally I would remove the 10 points out of tactics cause leg specialist isn’t that great with hammer anymore. The AoE cripple will only trigger the 1sec Immo on the first person it hits before going on CD.
With those points you could trait for Merciless Hammer and Destruction of Empowered for a significant DPS boost.

Again, it’s not supposed to replace the hammer, it’s supposed to replace the bow. The bow doesn’t fit with Perplexity runes and distracting strikes, leg specialist. It’s out of order imo.
But try it, not gonna stop you. I just think there’s so much greater stuff to do with that weapon combo than a confusion build.
Havoc build without Battle Standard is like cutting your group off at the knees. That one ability can turn the tide (awesome with high levels of self stability that this build has). You then can also take Warrior’s Sprint over Signet Mastery (if you want it).
Instead of Mango Pie, take a precision food to compensate and you’ll float around the ‘preferred’ 50% crit rate.
Leg Specialist is great for sPvP. In this build/open WvW, not so much since condition reduction/roaming condition removal is high and it is for one attack ability. Instead use those points for Adrenaline gaining traits which this build severely lacks (Cleansing Ire is not enough).
